Great location close to universal studios. Th hotel is secluded and hidden from Hollywood. Nice rooms with friendly staff really made the stay enjoyable.

Great central location

Posted Nov 29, 2014
Pros: Convenience, location, quick walk to Universal City and Studios.
Cons: Update rooms and bathrooms.
Location: Everything. From amusement parks to dining to shopping to the beach. Downtown Hollywood, Sunset Blvd, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica.
Found out upon check in you cannot add a roll-away to a 2 bed room reservation. Forced to rent another room but we should have done so anyway with our family of five that includes messy and stinky 16, 13 and 11 YO boys. Much more pleasant stay resulted. We added on the Starwood Club access $30 per night, which added continental breakfast, unlimited WIFI ($10 per day per device normally) and afternoon/evening snacking opportunities. Rooms need updating but were clean and comfortable. The staff was quite friendly and responsive to our requests.

Nice hotel close to universal Hollywood.

Posted Nov 23, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, hotel included gym and pool, also included mail facility for postcards.
Cons: Ample parking, but charged an additional $24 per day. Internet connectivity additional $9.99 per day. both should be included in price of hotel.
Location: Short walk from universal theme park (free shuttle also available). Disneyland resort, as well as a number of theme parks within 2Hrs drive
Nice place to stay, though be warned parking and internet incur additional charges. Universal Hollywood is rather a small park and you won't need more than a day to complete everything there. The hotel does include some ideas of things to do in the vicinity, with a rough idea of how far each attraction is away from the hotel. It is advantageous to have access to a vehicle, but traffic can get quite bad.

The room temperature went from too cold to 85 degrees overnight. We were sweating when we woke up. And there's NO MICROWAVE !!!

Awesome Birthday!

Posted Nov 13, 2014
Pros: The personnel was friendly and informative.
Cons: I thought everything was great!
Location: You can either walk or take the shuttle to the citiwalk or to Universal Studios. Many shopping centers and restaurants nearby.
I went out to Universal Studios for my birthday and had a blast. We stayed at the Sheraton Universal and the staff was friendly and professional. There's a little shuttle that stops by to drop you off or pick you up so you don't have to drive out of the parking lot. But if you do, they also provide you with a free parking permit to get in and out of the parking lot for free all day till midnight of the day you check out! I was amazed. It was a bit pricey because we didn't book in advance, but it was all worth it! Highly recommend it.

Very nice

It was great. Staff was friendly, place was clean, only caveat was that I self-parked and still had to pay $25/day. Other than that....it was great.

Over priced for the look and condition of room.

Posted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms need to be updated badly
Location: Great location
It was just an ok, over priced hotel room. I wouldn't rush back anytime soon. It was old and dingy. Staff were friendly, but for the price it was not worth it.
