Amazing

Posted Jan 29, 2015
The staff in particular the concierge (I can't remember his name :( ) went over and beyond to meet my needs. - I had a parcel that wasn't delivered on time and he spent ages helping me organise for it to arrive in Australia as cheaply as possible. The maids were amazing- we had a sleep in day and didn't leave the room until around lunch time and this didn't phase her at all, and we still returned to a made up room. Wasn't too far from anything, we paid $30 to get to Warner bros studios and besides that the city walk had everything we needed! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Just 'fine'

Posted Jan 24, 2015
I was put in an extremely small room in the - what it felt like was the basement. The walls are scratched and chunks of the wall were missing. A fine hotel for a cheap vacation but not for a really good experience. The maintenance man, Ronaldo, was amazing.

Great hotel. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Concierge desk was fantastic and made great recommendations on things to do within our stay.

Close but not so close to.....

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Close to Universal - nice walk up the hill
Cons: Booking hadn't come through from Expedia so had to wait an hour for our room confirmation
Location: Metro close by to get downtown
We stayed here to have a day at Universal - with kids...once there you are pretty much locked in to what is on offer around for food etc (at hotel or City Walk); unless you have a car or know where you want to go to eat and grab a cab or metro - so easy if no kids!!

Nice to be next to universal studios

Posted Jan 3, 2015
It just seems like the hotel rooms are out of date the price per night must be based on location. The bathroom was not dirty but there was no fan the bath tube looks old with stains. The cable TV did not have very many Chanel's. As for the parking I do not understand if you self park why you should have to pay anything, the cost for the room should be enough.

Completely run down

Posted Jan 3, 2015
Pros: The location is Ok, but the hotel is not worth staying there
Cons: Remodel the hotel and maintain it!
Location: Universal city
Checked in and they didn't honor the 2 bedside request we placed, they said their agree net with expedia was to give us a Room, finales after complaining to manager they gave us a Room with 2 beds, completely ran down, ripped carpet, stained, dirty, bath tub paint coming off in pieces, unbelievable that this hotel ha st been shut down! Asked to talk to the manager and has not returned our phone calls!
