Hollywood trip

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: Close to event
Cons: attention to details, trying to solve issues before they occur
Location: you should know this?
I requested a quiet room, somehow I ended up 10 feet from the main elevators. Across from the 9th floor courtesy suite which had constant traffic. Internet is very slow and requires logging in on a daily basis. The room was specifically designed for handicapped access (don't know why it was wasted on me?). to be honest there where two wonderful employees. The lady I checked in with(room was not ready at 1pm). As well as an asian lady working reception in the downstairs restaurant.

Would not stay here again

Posted Oct 12, 2014
I thought for the price i was paying i would have a great night here. Little did i know it was worse than a motel 6. They told me to take my family of four with 2 suitcases, 2 bags, 2 strollers & a portable crib to take a ramp to our room that was almost a mile from the front desk. When we got there we realized that they had us circle the entire hotel & our room was right by the entrance. This also caused an issue. The entrance door located directly to our room slammed all night. When i told the front desk during check out they brushed me off. The room could have been cleaner & the service could have been much better for this price. Dont stay here, its only about $ to them & not the quality of your stay. One of the worst night sleep in a hotel.

Great for visiting universal studios

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pretty good hotel with great staff. Fantastic for universal studios. Rooms a little small and major wait times for lifts when busy. Air conditioning struggled on very hot day. No fridge or complimentary water or free wifi in rooms. Our room had an incredible view.

Ok hotel next to universal studios

Posted Oct 4, 2014
The hotel is kinda old. The lobby looks fancy but when you get to your room it is a little dated and worn down. Also you figure since you're staying at the hotel they would provide free parking but it costs $24.00 a night!!!!! You might as well stay at another hotel not close to universal studios and just pay for the parking because you're going to have to pay for parking anyway.

Great location for Universal, needs renovations

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Location to Universal Studios
Cons: Renovation of rooms - peeling ceiling, and doors. Looks a little old and tired.
Attended the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. Great location for a 2am finish. Very short and safe walk. Staff at hotel were great. Hotel itself looking a little old, with rooms needing a little renovating. Peeling ceiling in bathroom, doors banged up. Our room had very thin walls - not a big fan of hearing about the folks next doors troubles!
