Reserved a room with 2 queen beds, but instead received 2 double beds. Would have gone to the Hilton with cheaper rates for double beds. Room was only stocked with 3 towels, but there were 4 of us.

Fantastic place to stay.

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: Everything
This hotel is undergoing refurbishment at the moment, it has a great new pool and spa area with huge hot tub. The staff at the hotel were all very polite and helpful and the rooms were very good. Food was superb too. The location is great and very safe, right next to Universal but also a short drive to all other LA attractions. All in all I rate this hotel as superb and would stay there again for sure.

Convenient location-Noisy stay

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Love the convenient shuttle service to the park and city walk, although an unpleasant stay due to noisy guests on both nights yelling and slamming doors till 2am staff didn't do anything to accommodate or comp a room for us being that we had two rooms for a total of two nights?? Room could use some updating.. The headboard on our bed was withering away from the leather being old same with the leather chair in the room perking away...

Close to Universal City and that's about it

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Proximity to the Universal City.
Cons: Everything else.
The only plus point about this hotel is that it is close to the Universal City and there is a shuttle to the studio every 20-25 minutes. No complimentary breakfast, no complimentary Wi-Fi, room service is way too expensive and they charge $26 per day for car parking even when you are staying with them. I would suggest to stay a little away from the Universal City which will save you a lot of money and you would be staying in a much better place.

Rooms were dirty and in need of renovation

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Rooms booked several months ago were not in the same wing with children in both rooms although requested. Rooms were dirty and furniture and carpet and walls and the bathroom were unbelievably damaged and dirty.

Good location, poor condition

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: Good location for Universal and Metro. Staff are generally nice.
Cons: Bathrooms need renovation. Complimentary internet.
Location: Universal Studios. City walk. 1 Metro stop to Hollywood.
We were visiting Universal Studios. I have stayed at Hilton before, so I wanted to try Sheraton this time because it was a bit cheaper. The hotel staff was nice, and service was generally decent (except for a rude cleaning staff). The bed, chair, and desk were all nice. But there was no fridge. There is no complimentary internet (unless you are a Starwood member, which I happened to be). The bathroom was clean-ish but in a poor condition. It was small. Tub was very small and old with paints peeling off. The pool was being renovated thus not accessible, which wasn't mentioned on the website when I made the booking. This was quite disappointing to young child. Hallway carpet was damaged and some of the elevator buttons didn't work. I expected Sheraton to be much better in quality than what I saw.
