Hot!!! Not for mature adults.Posted Sep 20, 2014
Cons: at least have to provide AC.
Location: there is nothing to say about the location, nothing to do around there. That area is developing area, many closed stores there.
Don't stay at this hotel at summer time!!! We were traveling at September 13, weather is not cool down yet. From the online photos, this hotel is meet what we were looking for, meet standard requirement and clean. However, after we arrived, we were so disappointing. 1. they don't have self park, MUST do valet parking, $15 per stay and you have to wait for more than 15 minutes for staff go far away to pick up your car. 2. there are NO air conditioning in the entire hotel unless the front desk area. "not even a room has AC here" that's what staff told me when we check out. The room we had is really small, it's okay because we were planning to stay one night, the problem is they are dorm type hotel, share bathroom, if you need privacy, have to paid for upgrade. Because they do not have AC, we have turn on ceiling fan and open window to get fresh 'cool' air. There are more than twice that the firetruck were passing by, just under our window, really really loud and we couldn't close window. I know in NYC there are more firetrucks are passing in a day, but we still can volume it down by closing window, in this hotel, I don't think you want to close your window. 3. It really a school dorm, no basic hotel amenities there. Finally, we just look for another hotel and check-out, did not spend a night there. It just waste my money and my time.

Good hotel downtown but cramped & humid rooms.Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: The price was very reasonable for a hotel in LA. You can save a bit more money if you're willing to share a washroom with other guests.
Cons: The rooms were stuffy and uncomfortable.
Location: It's LA. We did the downtown open-bus hop-on-hop-off tour and the matching one in Hollywood.
We were driving from San Fran to San Diego and stayed at the Stay on Main while in LA. The hotel is in downtown LA but suffered from a bit too much urban noise and small quarters with poor ventilation. We were sweaty and uncomfortable sleeping. The valet parking was at a reasonable price and a must for overnight parking in downtown LA.

Pros: hotel had a beautiful lobby
Cons: air conditioning
Had a very important shareholder meeting the following morning in LA. I resorted to sleeping on the floor naked to keep cool enough to sleep for a few minutes at a time. My window was open trying to get some air flow. Every half hour or so car alarms, screams, fire trucks, ambulances and more car alarms would continue to roar though the night. No alarm clock in the room and my wake up call never came. After a quick shower and putting my suit on I was completely drenched in sweat, ready for the meeting. If I was a young twenty something staying in LA I would seriously consider staying here with some buddies. However, I wouldn't stay here again unless the only activities I had in store were binge drinking and chasing starlets.

Hotel is very nice, staff is kind and helpful and being there is really comfortable. Rooms are cousy and clean, only bathroom could be cleaner. Everything else is awesome, especially breakfast!

Looks are deceivingPosted Sep 2, 2014
The lobby was really nice looking. Once we checked in and got out of the elevator on our floor we see signs for bathrooms and showers. We were a little confused why they'd have bathrooms and showers in separate areas other than in our room. We get into our kitchen sized room and are stunned. Sheets weren't that clean with stains on them. Our tv had no picture, the phone in our room didn't dial out or connect to concierge and to top it off our shower was IN our bathroom. Only thing dividing our shower head and toilet was a ripped shower curtain. Oh and the room was really hot. No AC but they did provide a small tower fan that barely worked. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Nice little place to stay if you're planning on sightseeing or doing other stuff. I do not recommend it to people that wish to stay in there room for a long time. My friends and I just used it as somewhere to sleep, get ready, and have breakfast.
