No pool services as promised.Posted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: close to cruiseport.
Cons: everything and especially their attitude.
Location: nice area
Hotel said it was out of order. It was not. They posted a bogus (un filled out) sign that it was. They were trying to save on this service. The staff was nasty and short. Would stay anywhere other than this. It was bad.

HORRIBLE!! DO NOT STAY HERE!Posted Nov 9, 2013
Booked this off reviews and photos online... Will NOT do this again. Nothing in San Pedro is worth staying at for the closeness of a cruise. We walked in... checked in... went to look at our room.. smelled moldy... had 1 towel for 2 person occupancy?!? To say the least we went right back downstairs and checked out. Found a room at the Hilton in Longbeach for $103

Really convenient location for cruise shipsPosted Oct 25, 2013
Pros: The location is ideal for connecting to cruise ship (shuttle from hotel); good base for sightseeing. Breakfast room and staff -nice. 1 hour to LAX
Cons: Window air conditioner makes noise and too hot without it; hallways had a musty smell but rooms were clean. Pool was closed but no time.
Location: Enterprise Car Rental was a block away; free hotel parking; fishermen's memorial park; close to Queen Mary; Ports of Call restaurant near
Good location for a day or two before cruise departure. Hotel not listed on airport shuttle list of hotels so we were unsure if the shared van would drop us there, but, it worked out. Great location for things south of LA. Originally we wanted to take the hop on hop off bus for Hollywood and Beverly Hills, but, it is too far to drive and park to a "get on" stop. Instead, with our rental car, we saw beautiful coastal parks to the west and the next morning had enough time to go to Long Beach to see the Queen Mary before our cruise departed. Although this hotel would not be a destination resort, it offers more than just the basics for a very reasonable price.

convenient to restaurants and city life.Posted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: See the above
Cons: We didn't care but some people were sorry that the pool and spa were closed.
Location good for walking around the waterfront and the city blocks in the neighborhood. great breakfast options in the continental breakfast. Very convenient should one take the cruise ships. We had a great time walking; and driving around when too far to walk

Good continental breakfastPosted Oct 2, 2013
We enjoyed our stay but was disappointed to find the pool and jacuzzi not in working order. Breakfast was excellent for a continental breakfast.

Pool and StaffPosted Sep 27, 2013
Pros: The hotel is close to my California family. The room was pleasant enought with a small refrigerator and microwave. Rate was good.
Cons: Pool open, customer service training for staff and upgrade tolet paper.
Location: Son is very close by and enjoyed restaurant, Griners, which is next door.
The pool and sauna had been closed by health department since the beginning of September. When I questioned when it be open, the gentleman said he did not know. I had looked forward to taking my grandson to the pool. The staff could use some customer care training. They did not appear friendly. They did not greet unless you greated them first. I called front desk because light bulb was out and was told they had one for replacement but I had to come down to get. Worse tolet paper. I rated yes to recommending, but not if they expect a pool.

Pool Closed in 90+ Degree Weather!Posted Sep 13, 2013
Pros: continental breakfast
Cons: Customer service
My husband and I stayed here on a visit.... San Pedro always has great weather! However.. we came at the hottest week of the year! temperatures got up to the high 90's. To our disapointment the pool was closed both days we were there, I wish we would have known this before we booked, as we would NOT have stayed here. Guess that was a hard lesson to learn. Oh and by the way... front desk guy, PLEASE go into another profession, customer service is NOT your cup of tea. Expedia, you should really consider being careful about which hotels you offer.
