“The best place to stay in Hollywood if you want a bit of charm”

The staff were great, the room/suite was great, be sure to get a room with a view of LA, the guy that runs the restaurant was a delight even though we only had a nightcap there, he took the time to get to know us, and was genuinely interested! We were on our honeymoon so maybe we did look a bit too happy not to talk to:)

“Nice hotel, we eat...”

breakfast and dinner next to Bill Murray and John Lithgow. The room service is 10/10 just note that it is an old hotel (1920's) and some parts look old... Your room is not old, and the shower is 10/10 also. All and all, great location and a great hotel.

“Hollywood comfort”

This hotel is well situted, very comfortable, an elegant dining room, sophisticated bar and pool and well appopinted rooms. We founf the staff very helpful and the people who were in the bar in the evening a good mix of local sophisticants and guests. Easy to get to from LAX (straight down La Cienega), and the view over downtown LA to one side, and the hills on the other worked for me. Will stay again.

“Sleeping in the lap of luxury!”

When an out-of-state friend of mine came to visit California for the first time, we decided to go big or go home. And man, did we go big! I've long adored the Sunset Tower from afar, wishing I had some justifyable reason to spend a few nights in one the luxury apartments-turned-luxury hotel rooms which one housed the likes of Garbo, Monroe, West, and countless other Old Hollywood luminaries. I booked a Deluxe King Room, which put us on the top floor overlooking the Sunset Strip, with breathtaking views of Los Angeles and the hotel's 4th floor outdoor swimming pool. The roomy bathroom, floor-to-ceiling windows, and tasteful decor were only part of our luxurious experience at the Tower. I was especially impressed with the service--from the helpful valets, to the friendly front desk staff, to the pleasant housekeepers (the turn down service includes fresh bottles of water and delicious cookies!)--which was unmatched by any previous hotel I've visited. In the past, I would have stayed at the Roosevelt on Hollywood Blvd, but from now on you'll find me sipping a drink by the pool at the Sunset Tower!

“This hotel is a top Hollywood attraction!!”

The SUNSET Tower hotel, is a landmark in the heart of Sunset boulevard. Once the home of the most famous movie stars from mid 20th century today it is a great hotel with very nice staff. Rooms are beautifull redecoated and all the facilities, including the gym is great. Really the best is the bar and restaurant, hosted by the famous Dimitri Dimitrov (google!); a intimate restaurant with a beautiful view over LA. . Every evening, in the half dark restaurant the rich and famous of Hollywood a gathering together. The vipe of this restaurant is probably the best of Hollywood.
