Universal studios trip

Posted Dec 12, 2014
Pros: Location close to universal studios, great staff. Very clean hotel.
Location: great local easy to find off of highway.
Hotel was very clean. Room and bed where comfortable. We were a little disappointed that the pool closed at 7pm. We still had a great time and the housekeeping staff went above and beyond to accomidate us. The front desk peple were helpful and very curtious. Thank you.

We arrived to the hotel at night time, plenty of parking space the reception staff was very nice they direct us to our room quickly, our room was lovely, just remodel, comfortable bed, a bit noize because of the 101 Fwy being close by, but overall we had a good time.

Good place close to Universal Studios

Walking distance to Universal. Room was quiet though the hotel is on a busy road. No restaurant in the hotel but a few within 2-3 blocks

Great location, easy-going staff

I was using the hotel room as a staging area for a bachelorette party and the staff was easy and helped figure out a way to make it less stressful for our guests. Thanks

This was a nice clean place to stay.

Posted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: Nice place, good rates.
Cons: Outlets on bedside lamps did not work for me.
Location: Studio City is a nice area with lots to do if you are looking to stay in the valley. Rates and good.
Lighting in the room could have been better. Overall nice place to stay for the money.

Hotel was great, very clean cute hotel. Location was close to universal studios. I wish the staff was a little more attentive to the guests at the bar as well as in the morning trying to get breakfast.

Convenient location, big rooms

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Spacious room, big fridge in room, rainfall shower
Cons: Towels/linens could be cleaned better, and room and hallways could use a loving touch.
This hotel isn't bad. It's a little run-down, but it's fine. The two biggest problems I had with it were the stains and long black hairs on my towel (neither my husband nor I have long black hair), and the fact that the whole thing needed a good spruce-up. But overall, not bad. It's relatively modern, but just needs some better maintenance. The bed was big and comfortable - I think it had to be a California King? There was a fridge, a rainfall shower, a couch, and plenty of outlets for charging electronics. It's not the best hotel I have stayed at, but not the worst, and you can't beat the price. The parking is also weird - it's tandem parking, so if you park behind someone, you have to leave your keys at the front desk. It's also right next to the highway, so we could hear cars going by at night. I got used to that pretty quickly. Overall, I don't recommend this hotel if you are an absolute germophobe, because you will notice the wear and tear (and in my case, the stain/hair on my towel...the other towels weren't bad so I probably just got a bad towel...I can put that stuff out of my mind if I think it's an isolated incident), but if you are looking for space and relative comfort for a good price, this is the hotel for you.

Nice hotel, close to Universal Studios

Posted Oct 19, 2014
The hotel was great however, my room had a con-joining door and it was paper thin. At 7am I could hear my neighbors every word. It was aweful! Also, I arrived at 2, i req early check in but they had no recorded of it. I had to wait in my car for 1.5 hrs, with my kids. That was horrible.
