Perfect choice for a short break in Hollywood!

Posted Dec 22, 2014
Pros: Perfect location. Comfort of beds. Free WIFI. Easy and good value parking.
Cons: Shower was a little low power. Windows could be double-glazed just to reduce the noise of traffic slightly more at night.
Location: 5 minutes walk from Hollywood Boulevard to see the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame, Kodak Theatre and Chinese Theatre. Great Hard Rock cafe here too!
Great hotel 5 minutes walk from Hollywood Boulevard! Free WIFI and safe parking at just $15 per night. We stayed in a standard room for two nights and were really impressed with this hotel. The beds are massive and really comfortable which was perfect after a long flight from Auckland. The staff were really helpful on Reception and they provide a small selection of great value drinks and snacks that you can easily charge to the room. This is a perfect choice for staying in Hollywood and seeing the famous sights.

Perfect location! Great hotel!

Posted Dec 12, 2014
Me and my partner chose to stay at the BLVD Hollywood hotel as it was right in the heart of Hollywood and was in our price range. We didn't expect much as it wasn't expensive but it was amazing! 5 minute walk to the walk of fame and heaps other attractions. The rooms were spacious, modern and the beds are so comfortable! Which I appreciated as I have a bad back. Great staff too! Will definitely come back!

Close to hollywood blvd

Posted Nov 1, 2014
Although the staff were nice and the location is close to Hollywood blvd, the area itself is busy, dirty and traffic is a nightmare. The walls are paper thin and you can hear every word of all other guests and staff. This hotel obviously attracts young people as all night you can hear giggling, yelling, room hopping and door slamming. The rooms themselves are dark and there are no full length mirrors. The toilet and shower are in what i assume used to be a cupboard. No air or windows. The beds are on wheels and move when you do. Do not sit on the end of the beds as they will tip. There are no safes in the room and given the clientele and location i would suggest this is something they should consider.

Really close to hollywood boulevard

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: The staff was very helpful and the room was very comfortable and clean.
Location: The hollywood walk of fame is walking distance and the famous In N Out burger store in also located within fifteen minutes walking distance.
Staff was really friendly, helped with finding a taxi service to take us to our destinations. Really close walking distance to hollywood boulevard. The bar was cute and nice to go to after a long day of walking around.

Never again!

Posted Oct 26, 2014
At check in they declined our credit card and asked for a $200 deposite in cash. Red flag from the start! At checkout they claimed we didnt leave a 200$ security deposite but we were the 3rd party to check out that claimed the same thing! Their employees pocket cash at check in. Do not recomend for anyone!

Great Central Location

Posted Oct 26, 2014
Pros: Loved the modern look, seems to have been remodeled, the small bar lounge inside for drinks at night and sitting on the lobby patio in the morning!
Cons: The water/sink/drain in our room smelt a little off - so we used the shower to wash our faces and water bottles to brush our teeth.
Location: 5-10min walk down to Hollywood BLVD. 10min drive to streets like Melrose and Fairfax Ave! Super central for tourists visiting LA for the first time.
Stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights after seeing a pretty good deal for a Suite on expedia! Booked it and was pleased to see it look exactly like the photos online.

We arrived last minute after a cancellation at another hotel and we were so pleased. Out of all the hotels in our travels this was the best. Great staff and super nice service.

Great location for a movie premiere

Posted Oct 23, 2014
We came in for a night for a film premiere down the road at the Chinese Theatre. The rooms were nice, the staff fantastic and for the price, we were very happy. There were a few stains on the love seat but honestly, the only thing we noticed

Over priced for the location

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Located close to Hollywood attractions.
The room was ok but we could not connect to WiFi and no ice machine available for ice. The room and hotel looked like a 100 year old building with a poorly performed renovation done in the past year. We could hear every step of the people in the room above us. Wood floors in the room were not pleasant at all.
