“They treat you like royalty”

Royalty, that's what we felt like from the first moment we pulled up to this gorgeous hotel. The attentiveness of the valet staff was superb, professional and friendly. The front desk clerk efficient and very personable. We were taken for a tour of the hotel and since our room was not quite ready, we arrived 2 hours before check-in we opted to have lunch in the polo lounge which was delicous and lovely. Our room was upgraded to a bungalow and was fantastic! This hotel is definately worth the splurge in every way and when we are in Beverly Hills again this will be the ONLY hotel we consider staying in. Go for it, you will not be sorry!!

“Fantastic Experience”

Service, staff, hotel amenities are on par with finer establishments worldwide. A unique mixture of modern convenience with the luxurious surroundings of a by-gone era (the art deco decor is marvelous). Unparalleled customer service. Simply a lot of fun for couples and for families.

“lovely hotel”

Great hotel with excellent service. When I asked not to be bothered by the maids, I actually wasn't bothered. Food is expensive, but I expected that. Lovely room, nice bathroom and soaking tub. Excellent stay.

“These people get service.”

An iconic hotel, this wondrous place has undergone a face lift since my last visit and has maintained its beautiful facade. For a high-end hotel it is exceptional. Service is beyond wonderful: from the check-in clerk accompanying us to our room to show us around, to a request as to what hour of the day we wanted the room cleaned and the bed turned down. Lots of movie stars wandering around as well -- unplanned dividend. Minor quarrel: at these prices they should offer free wireless internet, but they charge for it. Valet parking is also off-the-charts expensive, but you really need a car unless you hire a limo or everyone comes to see you.

“Great classic LA hotel that delivers”

We had a great stay at the BHH. The room was clean, impeccable with nice furniture etc. The bedding was excellent, nice bathrooms, etc. The staff was great: high class service for a high price. The rest of the hotel is definitely nicer than the gym, which was ok, not great. It is downstairs, has no views and some treadmills, elliptical and weightlifting machines. The pool is nice but was quite crowded. Getting a spot can be a bit of a pain. Service there, though, was fine. Quite a scene but a bit of a pain. Food and drinks where consistently good. We had lunch at the pool cafe and some in room dining. High quality, good service, so no complaints at all. Overall my favorite hotel in LA.

“Expensive but lives up to the pricing”

Stayed one night for business/pleasure and had a fantastic experience. Very quiet and well run. Every staff member was friendly - in the hall, when bringing an iron (FAST too), at the restaurants. Arrived an hour before check in but room was ready. Lots of small nice touches like water bottles in your room and a little fruit plate when we arrived. Furnishings and fixtures in top condition despite the age of the building. Very expensive but seems to live up to the pricing. Reasonable wireless rate per day ($10) but it should be free in all the high end hotels, like basic tv.
