Classic and Comfortable

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Cons: Parking prices.
Our stay was extremely nice. The hotel is beautiful and welcoming. The staff was some of the nicest I have ever encountered. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to experience a feeling of old Hollywood. We loved it! The parking is a bit pricey at $40 per day, but so convenient.

Beautiful

Pros: Beautiful hotel. Staff was attentive.
Cons: Our room became very dusty by the end of the day. As I'm allergic to dust, it was a problem if we skipped having the room cleaned everyday.
Location: Within 10 to 20 minutes ride by taxi to many different venues.
Hotel was beautiful and pleasing to the eye. We had free buffet breakfast with our reservations and there were enough choices so that you could have something different everyday. Our room was quiet, but I did wear earplugs to block out any noise. Overall, a great place to stay.

Great venue and location - only item of dissatisfaction is that $40 per day parking fee is excessive!

We were there for a family vacation. The hotel's location is excellent. Everything is nearby. The staff is kind and helpful. We were a little disappointed with the room

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Beverly Hills

Posted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: Very clean, room was spacious, staff were excellent.
Cons: Not a thing.
Location: Close to a running path that is 3.5 mile round trip if you desire. See above.
We knew very little about the LA area but wanted to stay close to UCLA for an event we would attend there. The hotel appeared to have what we needed when we checked on line, but what a surprise when we got there. It is a beautiful setting where many events involving the gliterati. However, we were treated the same by the staff who were pleasant, kind, helpful and most accommodating and gracious. It is close to major highways servicing the LA, Beverly Hills, SoCal beaches and Hollywood areas. You can eat poolside or in the dining room that retains a fun retro feel to it. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Parking fee everyday

Posted Jan 3, 2015
Pros: Nice, quite neighborhood.
Cons: Bathroom is kind of outdated. MUST provide free parking, it's LA, not in the middle of San Francisco or Manhattan.
Location: Location is great and save. Santa Monica beach is not far and for people who love shopping, Rodeo Drive is walking distance.
I can't believe we had to pay 40 dollars each day, which was 240 total for 6 days. I know there's no parking for most of hotels in NEW YORK, but just unbelievably residents have no free parking. Moreover, the "free wifi" was kind of scam. You ONLY have free wifi access at lobby area, which means you need to pay for wifi access in room. I have to say it's very rare people need to pay for wifi when they stay in the hotel, especially we are at some pretty big name brand hotel in Beverly Hills. I suggest people call the hotel to make sure how those fee apply, or people will end up paying around 300 on top of they pay for Expedia.
