Nice hotel close to Rodeo Drive

Posted Jan 24, 2015
The Crescent is in Beverly Hills, and is a 5 min walk from Rodeo Drive. The bathroom was quite small (about 1.5m x 1m) and the toilet was hidden behind the door and quite difficult to get to. However, the bed was lovely and big, and the linen and pillows were very comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants and shops close by, but they do tend to close early - most restaurants close by 8.30/9pm. The Italian restaurant just down the road from the hotel has delicious food. Westfield Century City is a 25min walk and there are plenty of good shops there. Parking at the hotel is exxy ($27/night valet parking) but you are able to enter and exit as many times as you like for no extra fee. The hotel is a 20 minute drive from Hollywood Boulevard, and 30 minutes from Universal Studios. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Great location, mixed staff

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Cons: Attitude of some of the staff.
Location: Close to Rodeo, restaurants and shopping
The hotel is small and rather eclectic. The room was small but clean and pleasant enough. The front desk staff was friendly. The reason I would not return was because of how disrespectful other staff members were. The hotel was on a corner lot. As I walked up, I asked the parking valet which side was the hotel entrance and he said to me, "the door is right in front of you... Just open it." I was only there one night and upon checking in, I had a very small overnight bag and purse. The parking valet walked in behind me said, "I'll take your bag" and started removing it from my shoulder. When I said, "no thank you" he rolled his eyes at me and said, "I'll take it for you." The man who checked me in kindly apologized for the behavior. The lack of customer service, even from just one staff member, did not provide a welcoming atmosphere.

Nice Hotel close to restaurants and Rodeo Drive

Posted Dec 24, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location.
Cons: Beds are not that comfortable, could be upgraded.
Location: please see above.
My wife and I booked this hotel for three nights as we were travelling to LA to attend a couple of TV show tapings at CBS Television City. The hotel rooms were small but nicely appointed. The rooms were basic but functional. Free internet was a bonus. There was 24 hour room service, a dining room and bar area and there was someone on duty at the front desk 24/7. Staff were friendly and helpful. There were restaurants located in the same block as our hotel and lots of eateries and shops nearby. Coffee, tea and some muffins were provided each morning from 7-10 a.m. and you could purchase breakfast from the restaurant if you wished. Overall value for money, we would stay here again.

Cute hotel

Good price for a great location. Clean, modern, but a little small. If you need to stay a few days in the neighborhood and price is an issue, than this is the place to stay. By the way breakfast and dinner on location was excellent. In room diner delivered in less than 20min!!

Expensive but cool

Posted Dec 12, 2014
Like everything in California, this hotel is expensive for what you get (parking, taxes, etc.). There was no refrigerator in the room or ice machine that we could find so some of our leftover food went bad. With that said, it's a very cool hotel, the staff is AWESOME, the location is UNBEATEABLE, an they even had a very cool photo collection on the walls. Overall, I would say this hotel is a great value compared to the other hotels that are around there.

Not comfortable

Posted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: Staff is friendly.
Cons: I can't wash my face because of strange sink. Water is all over.
Room is too small and dark and made me disappointed when I walked in the room. There is no buth tab and bath room is too dark.
