Sunset Blvd Nightlife

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Very thin walls. A good place for late-night Sunset Blvd clubbers, maybe not for others. Noise well after midnight from halls. Room appearance and cleanliness was good, common areas including pool looked a bit worn. One elevator is inadequate for a hotel this size. There are nicer hotels comparably priced in the area.

Never again.

Pros: Close to the House Of Blues
Cons: Anything and everything.
Location: Close to the House Of Blues
Horrible experience...will never go there again. Ordered two queen beds for two people. They gave us a room with one king bed. The snooty desk manager said if you order online...they can't guarantee what room you get. What a load of garbage. The TV remote did not work. The bed smelled bad. They only have valet parking that costs a lot. For big money a night? I would rather stay at a Motel 6.

Best hotel I've ever stayed at!

I stayed at the Grafton this weekend for a birthday and this was the best experience I've ever had at a hotel. Every staff member was so nice and helpful. The rooms were kept very clean and I even got picked for guest of the day which gave me free wifi, breakfast and discounted parking. I will definitely come back to this hotel again very soon!

Great Location, Nice Room

Posted Feb 22, 2014
Pros: The location, cost and quality of the room.
Cons: This appeared to be an updated / remodeled hotel and it would have been nice to know the history of the building.
Location: House of Blues, Comedy Store, brief walk to Hollywood areas of interest
I wanted to spend two nights in the West Hollywood area and needed a hotel that was centrally located and reasonably priced. I didn't want to do a lot of driving and wanted to be able to walk to some local areas of interest. This hotel fit the bill perfectly (it's right next to House of Blues), the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower felt great.

Okay

The room was clean but in the middle of the night, there were other guests running up and down the hallway screaming and yelling, using a lot of profanity.

Good location, nice team, tired hotel

The Grafton needs a bit of love and attention. The rooms are pretty dated, and ours smelt stale and old. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the orange walls made the room feel smaller than it was. It was really noisy. The air conditioning was extremely loud, and the walls are paper thin. What was worse was the construction going on right next door to our room. Obviously not something The Grafton was responsible for- but a note on their website would've been helpful because the jack hammering is a total turnoff. The guys at the front desk are nice and very happy to help. An injection of modern needs to be given to The Grafton to breathe new life in.
