NOOOOO ... DON'T DO IT!!!!

Just Horrible. Rooms look nothing like they appear online. The staff was not personable AT ALL! The facilities were disgusting. I literally felt like I was at a Raider game! BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I stayed there 2 days over the weekend the hotel was dirty very outdated. There was a leak in my room from the air unit that was on the wall got my clothes and shoes wet also my husbands wallet that was in his pants pocket. I will never stay there again!!

Older facility but the staff was nice, the rooms were clean, had mini refrigerator and microwave, free wifi, covered parking and really close to Downtown LA attractions such as the Staple Center.

Nice, no frills hotel in downtown

My stay was pleasant. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The lobby and the room were clean. The room was a little outdated; however, the hotel is currently renovating. I would say it's a modest hotel.

A relic from the padr

Posted Jun 18, 2015
The Mayfair is a relic that should be forgotten and buried. The hotel is worn out, dingy and in disrepair. The rooms are tiny and if you are no more than 4' in height you might be able to take a shower. The hallways have holes in the walls that have been covered by cardboard.

Was building work when I stayed and no water when I arrived. Overall enjoyed the stay in a good central location near metro central for easy access across L.A. good value for money

Under Renovation - 20 years late

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Staff friendly and location to our daytime destination.
Cons: It's under renovation so there are a lot of things - bathrooms should be first on the list or a handbook to explain how to use the darn thing
Location: Downtown location
Small but comfortable rooms, bathrooms are a true danger zone with some kind of double level tubs that are quite small and very dangerous. Flooded bathroom and if I were any bigger I would not have even been able to shut the bathroom door (i.e. had to stand next to the toilet so door could shut).

The hotel room was in terrible condition. They did an extremely poor job repairing the bathroom. The refrigerator was dirty and hard to open.
