Nice hotel but loud location

Pros: Fantastic staff, very clean facilities, free parking, free breakfast, free Internet.
Cons: I am not sure there is any way for this to be improved, but the rooms that face the street are subject to extreme traffic noise all night long.
Location: Beach, many restaurants of all kinds. Just be ready to sit in traffic during peak hours, or better yet, pick some place within walking distance.
I had some trouble finding the hotel, since their sign is small, the driveway into the underground parking is hard to see, and the street is very busy. People behind me weren't keen on me slowing down to look for it, so I didn't spot the driveway until right after I passed it. This meant it took an extra 10 minutes to circle the block in Friday afternoon rush hour traffic to get back to it. Argh! The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful, and the facilities are clean and well-kept. The room was reasonably comfortable with a decent bed and bedding. However, my room (with single pane windows!) faced Washington Place, which was crazy loud with honking horns, engines revving, stereos blaring, and people shouting. Even with the room air conditioner on, I could hear the noise will into the wee hours of the morning. Unless they could guarantee me an inside room, I would not stay here again because it was impossible to get any sleep.

Decent hotel, clean rooms overall

Pros: Decent breakfast.
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable.
Location: Good location--near the beach, near Venice, near lots of shopping.
The hotel is small and cute, with a nice little outdoor courtyard/social space. Breakfast isn't bad. Bed was okay, not great. My room faced the main road, which was quite noisy. Overall, this was a sort of mediocre experience, and not really worth the price.

Marina Del Rey Inn - the little Inn that could...

Pros: Nice lobby & desk clerks, the 2nd fl.pool (but cold), and the closeness to Venice Beach & Marina Del Rey. Breakfast was ok but tiny room. Free parking
Cons: Beds should be firmer. Make sure the room is in good repair. Stock toiletries for # of guests. Noisy fridge. Window insulation from street noise.
Location: Location is easy to find on street leading to Venice Beach and across from Marina. Plenty of food choices nearby.
We were tired and road worn so when we got here all we wanted to do was get a comfortable night's sleep. Unfortunately, the beds were very soft. The room was nicely decorated but small with one nightstand between the two queen beds and about 2 ft. from the wall to the other side of the bed (not enough space for another table on either side, just a standing lamp near the wall.) Thankfully, there was walking space between the desk, dresser with flat tv and fridge/microwave/coffee station so we weren't tripping over each other. The view overlooked the alley and liquor store. The combination of a/c and refrigerator running made the room noisy. Upon waking up in the morning we noticed: 1. damage on the ceiling from an apparent leak, 2. wall paper starting to peel, 3. not enough toiletries for all of us (we booked a room for 4), 4. niece noticed a moldy smell, and 4. bathroom dirt in the corners (so small you couldn't help noticing it). When my daughter went down for breakfast and asked the front desk for more toiletries she gave her one more shampoo and conditioner... how accommodating! I guess you need to get to this place early enough to check out the room in advance of settling in. In comparison, this hotel was less expensive than the surrounding ones but, I will keep trying to find a better option when visiting the area.

Friendly and helpful staff

Pros: Location is good, staffs are friendly, bed is comfortable.Breakfast is good.
Cons: cleaness
Location: lovely stores near the beach, my friend told me there is a very good canal nearby but i don't had enough time to go there.
I booked and paid on line and I was informed the room will be kept for our late arrival. But when we arrived late from the Disneyland and were told our room was given to others and will give us another upgrade room.There was a pull-out sofa bed not a queen bed as I want in the new room, but it's ok. The bed is comfortable and clean. The bathroom isn't clean enough cause i saw some hair above the wall of the bathtub~The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good.

Location: Great Italian restaurant within a couple of blocks
Hotel was fine. Parking was awkward, with the possibility of being blocked in and needing staff to remove blocking car.

Pros: Location close to the beach and great restaurants.
This is the second time I have stayed at the Inn at Marina Del Rey and I will be staying there again. The location is ideal and the friendliness of the staff makes my stay very enjoyable.

I love this place! 2nd stay here. Clean, comfortable, convenient and very warm staff. Was under the weather while there and they accommodated me with great kindness.
