Trip to Hollywood

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: We like the small boutique hotel feel and the attentive personal service provided by all the staff.
Location: Rodeo Drive is within walking distance with all its fantastic shops.
We took our 15 year old granddaughter to Hollywood for her 16th birthday. We booked our room on Expedia requesting a room for 3 people. At check in, we found out our room would only accommodate 2 people so an extra portable bed was arranged. The following night we changed to a slightly larger room, but the hotel forgot to add the extra bed. The hotel was unable to provide a portable bed that night stating that they were all in use. My granddaughter had to sleep on the floor. The hotel was very apologetic and reimbursed us for the one night. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great Beverly Hills location and is in excellent condition. The on site restaurant's food is very savory.

Boutique Hotel

Pleasant stay. Other than thin walls and kids next door could've be 10/10 experience. Cool bar. Close to rodeo drive and shops. Far from universal studios. Overall 7.5/10. Ps buses and trains are very cheap and accessible!!!

Almost worth the $$.

The staff who checked us in were very polite and helpful. Parking was convenient, but cost extra. The air conditioner was very noisy, to the point where we just opened the windows at night and wore ear plugs to mute the partyers. When our room was not cleaned on our second day, we called the front desk 3 times, then finally told them not to bother. A while later, just as we were leaving for dinner, a very nice cleaning person came by, asking if we were sure we didn't want service. We had a very good, light dinner one night n the restaurant, although our server went off shift before bringing us the bill, so we had to go look for help. One other person came in and no one came to take his order. Over all, our feeling is that this hotel wants to be high end, but doesn't have the organization to pull it off. It seems that there is no one person who is in charge to make sure the details get taken care of.

Hotel was nice, staff was all very nice and accommodating. Hotel is centrally located... 1.3 miles from a The Ivy and shopping on Robertson. The products they use are fantastic and I would definitely stay here again.

Extremely nice staff. Upgraded our room at no charge when we had a king instead of two queens. Room service was good as well. Hotel was clean too.

Hotel was perfect, except that my door room had a problem and the card key needed to be recharged every-time. However, I got a parking for free for all this trouble. Except for one of front desk staff, all the others were fantastic. Rooms very clean offering, however the public spaces carpets need more attention in terms of cleaning. Definitely, I will use it again when in LA and recommend it to friends.
