The social aspect of the hotel is a 10!- as far as comfort, feels like they are trying too hard; next time for me would be the Westin across the street.

Don't bother

Posted May 5, 2015
Decor is ugly. No amenities like coffee makers in room. Kleenex is hidden in closet...probably because it is sooooo coarse using it is painful. Help, garbage, used linens etc. ride in passenger elevators. Rooms and showers are overly large...perhaps that is the draw, but not for me

Third floor above restaurant was a bust

Posted May 1, 2015
Overall I would say average. I mainly booked the standard because I wanted to use the pool and be out there sunset for the view but was told when I got there it was being renovated. Our room was third floor , right above the restaurant and I felt like I was at a rock concert that's how loud the music was and I am young. It went in till 1:00 am and then started back up at 8:30. I wasn't too happy about that. Room service at night took forever where my coffee in the morning was prompt, which I liked. It was interesting how the homeless were allowed to just walk in - more so in the front- had a weird conversation with a man rambling on about don't know what in the front lobby. $345 total for my stay I would've of expected nicer.

Party on the roof top in style

Posted Mar 22, 2015
I live 20min from this hotel, and wanted a quick and easy party get away. I love that as a guest I was able to get access to their roof top party but going right to the front of the line. Party with a mix of different people with a beautiful city sky line. It was a great date night !!!

Increíble!

Posted Mar 18, 2015

No AC fan

Posted Mar 5, 2015
Pros: cafe had a very cheerful employee, Sashi, who went out if her way to make you feel you were on a vacation. Female checkin employees very sweet.
Cons: for a King size plus room, a head Board would be nice besides a carpeted over piece of wood. "Design on a dime" trendy sheik but very cheap quality.
Location: Cafe downstairs, club upstairs that doesn't treat you any better if you're staying.
1)My check in was 3pm but told them late check in after 10pm. I entered my room that was over 100 degrees. The fan was no po and took ac 7 hrs to trickle into the room. I called hotel engineering who lied to me and said fan was on but silent pointing a laser guided temperature reader at floor (now 78-80 degrees roughly after 2hrs) and pointed at ac vent which was 70 degrees. The problem is that hot air rises and without a working fan in each unit, it takes forever to get temperature you want. Make sure to ask front desk to turn in your AC at 3pm before checking in. BTW, no one apologize or followed up just a lie thinking that someone who is a property manager wouldn't notice. 2) I prepaid and gave good tip to have one shirt ironed second day of stay. It was lost when I came back at night and needed it. I had group of people waiting in lobby to go to club up top while I was sitting in a t-shirt waiting around an hour. No apologies by housekeeping and still charged. 3) parking is $30- $40/night. I parked car Friday night giving large tip that they watch it and to have if ready upon check out. I never took it in and out and called 1h in advance to bring car for noon check out. Some crew was filming in parking lot causing me to wait almost an hr for my car so I was late returning rental and had to pay extra day for return. No apologies by staff. When you visit as a regular in LA once/month, you need a place that will treat you right
