“Excellent motel, good location, practical, clean”

Nice location in the middle of Manhattan Beach, near stores and restaurants, and with a nice, quiet neighborhood nearby. Plenty of free underground parking, no-fuss, clean service, acceptable free continental breakfast.

Really awesome place very comfortable room. I was upgraded to the honeymoon suite which I really appreciated. I had a delightful stay!

“Clean and quiet”

Small personal hotel only 40 rooms so no long check-in queues. Good basic breakfast included, free shuttle to airport is a bonus. Located on main road, but hotel is very quiet and immaculately maintained. Two good shopping malls within walking distance, and bus stop a few doors away. Affluent neighbourhood ,very safe. Walk through residential area to Manhattan Beach and local shopping centre, the ice-cream parlour is to die for.

The Wave was part of the Holiday Inn chain - now under another owner, it's undergoing a light facelift, with a good results. Located off of Sepulveda Boulevard an the corner of 9th, you have direct access to main roads and can quickly get to where one needs to by car. Currently free parking (yea!) - the garage is accessed on Nothbound Sepulveda - look for it under the Wave's sign. When exiting the garage, wait for the light on Sepulveda to turn red. Check in was quick and courteous, and the rooms clean. Room had motion detecting light switches - to activate turn them on by the door when entering the room, then turn on light at the lamp. The hotel supplied breakfast in the morning had a good variety and the staff kept a good eye on refilling supplies and keeping the area clean. Pool needed to be skimmed, but appeared to be in good shape. Cleanliness appears on par with others in the area. They also had laundry machines available on site if needed. Grocery store/ Mall nearby for things needed while traveling. It's not the most glamorous, but the value received for my dollar spent was very good.

“Would Stay Again”

I was not sure what to expect when I got there but I was very happy. I was a little hesitant, the pics looked nice but sometimes that is what it looked like when they first opened and there were no reviews at all so I was hoping we would not get a dump. Nice room with a king size bed and plenty of room. My only complaint was the bed hurt our back but other than that it was a great stay. The continental breakfast was the best we had while staying in california. Cereal, yogurt, fruit, muffins, bagels, juice, coffee, and hard boiled eggs to name a few and the lady was on top of things making sure everything was stocked up. Had a great stay and would recommend this place!

The Wave is a very nice hotel, it has everything you can wish for and more for a price as less as what they offer. I enjoy my time there and the area is very cool !

Veryu nice hotel and the price was right for the area. Clean rooms and nicely furnished. Outside was very well taken care of very friendly staff. One great thing ws there breakfast it was very good had everything you could want for a breakfast. Would definatly stay there again

“Loved it!”

Great experience for our one night stay. Had to drop off some friends at LAX late on a Saturday night. Decided to stay in LA instead of driving 2 hours home. Great price in a very safe area. Close to the airport so it didn't take long to get to hotel. Check in was quick. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. The Jacuzzi tub was a hit! : )
