Great destination for an anniversary giftPosted Jan 22, 2015
Pros: Views, history of the hotel in film, Starbucks in the lobby, contemporary motif
Cons: healthier stuff
Location: We were within easy cab distance to all downtown stuff, but the dance clubs on hill were our objective and it was easy cab ride
I stayed one night to celebrate my 15 year anniversary. It was a wonderful stay. The room was contemporary perfect to match the fab contemporary 'concrete' motif interior.

My nightPosted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: the hotel is beautiful very nice the prices a bit high but very beautiful.
Cons: The rooms could have been bigger
Location: A lot of things happening accidents, movie being made, close to freeway.
We had a good time could of been better being we paid so much money for a little room in "pantry" with a leak in the bathroom sink.

The location is greater, no the north of Staples Center. The stuffs there is friendly and the lobby is really beautiful. The only thing I am not satisfied is that the room is too small.

Worst housekeeping ever!!!Posted Jan 7, 2015
Location: Near many atractions
Dirty towells, one day they didn't clean the room, I had to call almost every day to ask for soap, more towells, etc. Not the kind of service that you expect in hotel of this class.

I had arrived at the Hotel before check-in time. But I could do check-in. And my room TV didn't work, so I called house keeping staff. Someone came here so fast!! I'm satisfied with staff.

We Love SPG PropertiesPosted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms, nice staff, great location, lots of food options inside.
Cons: Rooms are small, but that's downtown LA for ya'
What a great spot, only minutes from all the cool stuff downtown LA has to offer, and plenty to eat/drink inside this building. Rooms are a little small, but very nice, and very much on par with the Starwood Standard. Parking is rather expensive, but affordable overnight parking can be found only a block away (world trade center garage connects to this building via sky bridge). This was my second stay here, and I will be back for sure.

LA HotelPosted Jan 5, 2015
Cons: Customer Service. Free room wifi.
Location: Downtown LA
Waited half an hour to check in found out that the reservation has been cancel due to miscommunication between the hotel and expedia. Front desk person was not friendly at all, Instead of offering to resolve the issue, I was told that "it's an issue between you and expedia" and told to step aside and call expedia, and told me that once issue resolve, any staff can check me in, meaning I have to get back in line instead of going back to him. This hotel doesn't offer self parking; only Valet parking and is $45 per night. No free wifi in room. Outdoor pool is dirty and the location of the pool is very inconvenience. Room is small, but clean. I would not go back to this hotel again.
