It is right in the center of everything. Shops nearby and great location to tour.

“1985 Palace”

This place was all that in 85. It just hasn't been upgraged, except for the beds and the flat tv's in the room. I loved it.

For the amount of money, this place was spectacular. Friendly service. Nice pool and gym, and free pass to the large Gold's Gym across the street. Nice, comfortable rooms. Next to a Metro stop in Downtown LA, so easy to get to Hollywood and other points without a car. Highly recommend.

Liked hotel. good location. parking expensive, but that's the going rate for downtown.

“A Great Downtown Hotel”

Went to the Wilshire for Anime Expo 10 and wasn't expecting anything fantastic. However, things turned out better than I had expected! Our rooms were set up and ready to go, and right next to each other, though I'd ordered the rooms two weeks apart from each other. We were given keys for everyone in our party. Some of the keys ended up not working (3/8) but they were happy to replace them. The people at the front desk were very friendly. And the internet access was free! The hotel is also right across from the subway center which was very helpful. I will definitely be coming back.

“Great location in downtown LA”

We had a very nice one-night stay. The valet attendant was courteous, our front desk agent upgraded us, and the bell desk supervisor was friendly and professional. Our room overlooked the pool and some rooftops of the ballrooms (I assume). There were planter boxes and faux grass on these rooftops that made the view much more pleasant than looking at roofing material. Great attention to detail! The room was comfortable, with nicely appointed bathrooms, vanity and living space. We were very pleased!

“Great Location”

The Hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and responsive to all our needs. Parking was $35 per night but coming from a big city I expected that much. Not that many restaurants around but there are some that are 24 hours within walking distance. Conveniently located next to public transportation that can get you anywhere.

We love this hotel. Every time we come to l.a. we stay here. The staff is always willing to take care of our needs!

The hotel was great for the whole family. It was within walking distance of the convention center and local shops. It was very clean and very comfortable. We will use this hotel in the future for our conferences.
