“Hidden Secret in Cary North Carolina!”
Every business traveler knows the dread of being away from home for extended periods of time and living out of a suitcase. This hotel managed to make me feel welcome, had a warm breakfast, gym, pool, and large rooms (with fluffy pillows). It's located near everything and yet still feels tucked away in it's little corner. AND, it's a great value. I would stay here again and again.
“Better than expected”
Was expecting less for the price but instead was pleasantly surprised. Clean. Updated. No spa however but the FREE PARKING made up for it.
“Great place to stay”
I think I had a terrible staff member check me in, but otherwise the staff were great. The room was in great condition, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend this for anyone who's looking for a good, affordable spot, close to all the sights.
“A nice place to crash....”
This is a nice clean little motel, good safe place to crash after a night of LA clubbin'. The rooms are clean, friendy service and located near some really good clubs. I would go back.
“Clean no frills”
Very nice and clean cheap place to stay in the heart of Hollywood. Great place to crash after a night of clubbin'! Close to good clubs in Hollywood. Staff is always friendly too.
“great service”
very friendly, front desk very helpful
“Very good place to stay”
This hotel was in an excellent location and the desk staff were very helpful - no problem about leaving suitcases before and after checkin/checkout, etc. The hotel's a little quirky - you need to have the desk staff "activate" the phone before you can use it, and locking the door meant mastering a little "lift" when closing it, but these are only minor quibbles. The walls are quite thin so you can hear voices in adjoining rooms, and footsteps in the room above, so earplugs are helpful though not essential. And I would not want the rooms directly adjoining Vine St because of the noise factor. But, it was very clean (if a little "brown" in terms of its exterior and interior aesthetic), the staff were excellent, and it's in a fantastic part of Los Angeles, with regular buses along Santa Monica Boulevard (No. 4 bus) and Sunset Boulevard (No. 2 bus), and I had no problem wheeling my suitcase up to the Hollywood and Vine Metro station (which meant only $6 to travel to Los Angeles International Airport).
“It Definitely Works!”
I stayed here while on a weeklong vacation and I have no complaints at all. The only thing that wasn't great were the pillows, but if youbring your own it really doesn't matter. The rooms were spacious and they cleaned everyday. The continental breakfast was good as well. Can't really beat the location if you want to stay near Hollywood. I woudl stay there again anytime.
“good location”
stayed 3 nts in april well pleased front desk just ok but great location for sightseeing beverly hills neighborhood no problem
“Nicer than expected”
This was great for a last minute vacation. We stayed three nights and had two double rooms for the eight of us. Both rooms were fine. Not scarry or smelly. Carpet is not spotless but it is not spotless at my house either. Towels are clean but not the Ritz quality. Bathrooms are big with tub/shower combo and toilet. Hot water was great and water pressure was great. Sink is separate which is nice when traveling with lots of people. Remember this is in Hollywood so you are going to see people that are strange. Place seemed safe and we did not worry walking around outside at night. If you are here on a Sunday go to the farmer's market on Sunset. Don't eat breakfast there are so many free samples. Don't get conned into one of the Hollywood tours - who really wants to see the outside of houses where movie stars used to live.
