Good place to stay

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: Quiet, despite being on a busy street, clean, good breakfast, easy to access everything location.
Cons: We almost drove past the narrow, subtle driveway each time we went in.
Location: USC, the Science Center, Natural History Museum, the Coliseum, several restaurants, Staples Center, SO many things are near by.
My daughter and I needed a hotel close to the Science Center at USC so we could attend the State Science Fair. This hotel was so close we could walk.

If You Want an "Affordable" Hotel Near USC ...

Posted May 20, 2015
Pros: If you want a hotel conveniently located near the University of Southern California (USC) campus, this is it. Also convenient to CA Science Center.
Cons: The price for this hotel would be laughable except that it's in the middle of Los Angeles. The complimentary breakfast could use some protein.
Location: Univ. of Southern CA (USC), CA Science Center, IMAX, CS African American Museum. Exposition Park, LA Natural History Museum, LA Memorial Coliseum.
I was looking for an "affordable" hotel near the California Science Center, which is adjacent to the University of Southern California (USC) campus. There are many other higher-quality hotels, but they come with a much higher room price. Lower-priced hotels were also lower quality had poor ratings. So why stay at the Vagabond? It's a 2- to 3-star hotel with a 4-star price but it also saves you immense amounts of time in L.A.'s crazy traffic scene if you need to be near USC or the CA Science Center. The property is older and not in tip-top shape but its comfortable and clean. Our room had a comfortable bed, working TV, refrigerator, microwave and A/C. The shower and bathroom all worked and were clean--although there were holes in the wall where towel racks had been pulled off. The room and property seemed secure enough. There is some noise from the nearby busy street, but not beyond what you'd expect in any city. The hotel pool looked well maintained and inviting--nothing fancy. I wish I had time to enjoy it. Good free WiFi with acceptable speed for E-mail, web surfing. The staff seemed polite and efficient. The breakfast setup is in the small front lobby and consists of bagel, donuts, cereal, milk, coffee, and juice. I didn't see any protein. I was there for a middle school/high school event so the lobby was swamped first thing in the morning. I blame the event, not the hotel. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance--a mix of sit-down & fast food.

Para curtas temporadas, downtown LA

Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: Localização
Cons: Café da manhã é absolutamente o mínimo
Location: USC, Centro de Convenções.
Para poucos dias, no caso de evento no Centro de Convenções ou algo na USC, ótima localização.

Comfortable motel near USC, restaurants,

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: The location is an easy walk to USC, the room was comfortable
Cons: I had trouble with the wifi after a day, though my son was able to reconnect
Location: 2 blocks from USC campus, restaurants and services abound around motel. 10 minute drive to downtown, Staples Center, etc.
We enjoyed the free continental breakfast, quiet room, small pool. We had a problem with the bathtub drain but the staff immediately changed our room and helped us move.

decent hotel, horrible staff.

Posted Apr 18, 2015
Booking the hotel was easy, I called ahead to double check. When we arrived, I wasn't wowed but it's a college area so I get it. What left a bad taste in my mouth was the hotel staff. The front desk girl was nice and told us we could change our room to a king instead of two queens but seemed so confused and flustered. The new room was going to be cheaper which was nice but wasnt our reason for downgrading; we just didn't need two Queen beds but was all they at booking. When the girl said she needed to get her manager to help change the room, I expected a welcoming and professional individual. Instead we got a rude, fowl and snappy woman who spent half the time speaking to the housekeepers in Spanish (which I speak) about nothing important. She didn't even give us eye contact like we were peasants! the housekeepers stood in the lobby staring at me from head to toe. She explained to the front desk girl that she couldn't change our room. Not to us as we stood there for another eternity, but to the front desk girl as if she were the one staying there. Why couldn't she change our room? Because we booked on Expedia and so our room can't be changed..UNLESS we want a more expensive room in which case this could be miraculously be done. The manager herself didn't even know what rooms were available and clean so she asked her housekeepers (who yes, were still in the lobby which by the way is the size of a dog house). Whatever, we stuck with our room & it was okay, clean & suitable.

Close to USC campus

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Location, good parking, bed was surprisingly comfortable
Cons: Bathroom was pretty small. A basic breakfast was provided but no place to eat it, had to schlep stuff back to the room.
Location: USC campus, science park, Metro transit line
Needed to stay within walking distance of USC, this was as close as you can get. Didn't look too promising from outside but the room was decent enough

I stayed here one night for an event at the shrine auditorium, I loved how close it was to the venue. About a five minute walk away. Definitely would stay here again.

最高に便利な立地です

Posted Apr 9, 2015
Pros: 部屋が清潔で従業員も親切。 立地がすばらしく便利なのには驚きました。レストラン・ファーマシー・ファーストフード店など すべて徒歩圏内にあり、食には苦労しません。近くの石釜ピッツアはいつも行列。
Cons:
