“AMAZING!”

This has been one of my fav experiences ever. My bf (Jeff) got us this room for the week and I couldn't be happier. I can see the ocean from bed when I wake up in the morning and we didn't even get an ocean facing room. The kitchenette and brick walls and hardwood floors make it feel homey and warm instead of like a cold hotel room. The parking was difficult, and we ended up just paying to park, but from what i can see, none of the hotels directly on the boardwalk have parking and the stay is COMPLETELY worth it. Plus the manager was really cool and helpful about everything, even with finding our way around town since we're new here.

“right on the beach in LA's funkiest neighborhood”

We were staying with friends in the area and realized it would be best to find a hotel for our last night before flying home and rather than staying near the airport we searched for a hotel on the beach and found Venice Beach Suites, which is truly right on the beach. We didn't have a car which didn't matter, there's tons to do within a few blocks. I fulfilled a life long dream and got my first tattoo (my astrological sign) and had a super Italian dinner at the south end of the boardwalk with my hubby, good times, good red wine... When I come back to LA, I would stay here in a heartbeat. (and probably get another tattoo!!)

“Great Getaway Botique Hotel”

This Hotel is ON Venice Beach at the HEART of Venice Beach where you can feel like family. The staff is one of the best I've found. The historic nature of Venice comes alive here. I really liked the exposed brick walls and the hardwood floors in my room. There is always some event happening in the area. Fortunately the night that I stayed there the Santa Monica Pier was having their 100th anniversary with a great fireworks show which was very visible from the Hotel. The Boardwalk is full of artists and entertainers and there are many special events happening most every weekend year round. There are many great resturants and shops all within walking distance of the hotel, so leave your car at home and put on your walking shoes and enjoy Venice!

“I love Venice”

Hotel was right on the Venice boardwalk in an amazing location. The room was comfortable and clean. Great price also. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a Venice experience. Its a zoo!

“Perfect Location, Spectacular Views!”

Our stay was too short but the hotel was fantastic - street stalls at the front door, the view of the beach and skate park, short walk to Santa Monica Pier. We could not have found a better place to stay. Friendly staff, interesting elevator, views to die for... Cannot wait to come back!!

“Fantastic Location”

If you want access to the beach in LA, it doesn't get better than this little gem! It's right on the Venice Beach "boardwalk" and comes with lots of little extras like boogie-boards and beach toys. We got a warm welcome and a complimentary bottle of wine! There's a fridge and a cooker in the rooms for self-catering but you're a 1-10 minute walk from dozens of great restaurants!!

“Very Pleasant. Unique!”

It was very clean; eclectic old hotel building restored; very pleasant and helpful staff. If you are a single woman and plan to walk at night I would take a cab instead. Felt safe during the day but some borderline folks hanging around.

“All about the ambience”

Very helpful people, great (genuine) retro place right on the beach amongst the busker, music, crafts market action. No go if you want plastic luxury, go if you want atmosphere and a step back in time along with friendly service.

absolutely charming. It is family run and the family is 100% committed to making you have a wonderful stay. They provide a number of amenities such as beach chairs, surf boards, etc... right in the heart of great food too!
