“Excellent location, great Hotel and atmosphere”

This is another great W hotel, with excellent location, super comfortable contemporary rooms, very clean and the staff is amazing..... from the moment you valet park your car and all the way to your room is a pleasure to stay in this W Hotel. The lobby bar is beautiful with great atmosphere always something happening and gets even better at night. Service was also very good but do expect to pay W prices for drinks but hey you are in the middle of Los Angeles so its part of the adventure. Highly recommend this place for business or pleasure its a great place to be at.

“Amazing W Hollywood!”

The W Hollywood is luxury! The decor/interior of the hotel is just stunning and the rooms are very very comfortable and clean. The Delphine restaurant is worth a visit as well as making sure you relax at the Wet Deck(the wet deck is closed on Sundays between 12-6 for pool party). The most impressive part of my stay was a visit to the Bliss Dayspa! I had an amazing body scrub, the Therapists are so professional and friendly and they even have a chesse and brownie bar. The W is also located in a great spot right on Hollywood Blvd. I highly reccommend the W even if you are passing through for just the night.

“First time in Hollywood California”

My first experience in Hollywood was above average. The W Hotel is "Awesome" with the exception of one thing. The separation of business entities within the hotel complex is confusing to the W Hotel guest. The roof top pool and bar that I was allowed to frequent during the day was closed off to W Hotel guest at night. My friend and I finally got up to the roof top bar at night with a bit of difficulty. We ended up getting a cabana and spending $800 on drinks. W guest should have access. The W is is attached to the Hollywood and Vine metro stop, which was extremely convenient to get around and go to Universal Studios. The W is a 10-15 minute walk or 3 minute taxi to the downtown part of Hollywood, where the Kodak Theater, G. Chinese Theater, and the other Hollywood type of attractions are located. The W is located right around the corner from the BEST "Sushi Restaurant" I have ever been too (" Katsuyana by Shark") . The staff is extremely friendly and all of the hostess are "Model-like". The sushi chefs were open and let me sample things that I thought were interesting. The W staff is attractive and attentive. I asked many questions and found out that not all of the waiters, bartenders, doorman, and front desk personnel were aspiring " Actors". Some were just college students. Of course I met a few that were auditioning that day or the next. They were very nice and good luck Courtney. IT IS A GREAT MODERN HOTEL. It is not traditional. P

“A Win for the W in Hollywood!”

The W in Hollywood is probably what you expect it to be. Had a very pleasant stay and the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The rooms were very clean and modern. The concierge service was above and beyond. Free car service available even to drive you anywhere within a 20 min drive. A very happening, busy, fun place to be. Chinese theatre within walking distance and many, many small shops to browse in. Very eclectic shops I might add. A good stay and a fun stay.

“W hotel in Hollywood experienced the Majic”

Great happening hotel. Only complaint was when the hostess booted us hotel guests out of our seats after we had dinners and drinks for party guests. BAD POLICY.

“Great hotel in ordinary location”

The rooms are great - everything is clean and new. The bathroom is amazing, it has a huge shower. The only thing that is weird is that there is an opaque glass panel in the shower so you can see the outline of your room mate showering from the bed. The people at reception aren't too helpful.. I asked how to get to The Grove and the girl said take a cab (which cost $40 altogether). I later found out that there was a direct bus for $2.50 (next time i'll research myself..). I would not stay here again due to its location. The area is slightly dodgy at night, but it's totally fine if you're not by yourself. You can walk down to Hollywood & Highland, but after a while Hollywood Boulevard isn't too exciting. Katsuya is a short walk away - best sushi i've had in my life. The hotel's restaurant, Delphine, is quite good and the portions are really big.

The W is your quintessential LA experience. The pool atmosphere at Drais is LA at it's best & worse, depending on your perspective. If you want to experience LA's finest plastic surgery, full make-up, and micro-bikinis adorning the bodies of lithe 20-somethings, book your cabana now. The concierge staff are great, and will work diligently to ensure that all your requests are met, for a price, naturally. What let's the W down is the food, the menu and value is below par and need to be look at
