“Peaceful and Pleasant”

Our stay was wonderful. The staff were attentive and pleasant, the grounds were well groomed and clean with nice attention to details. It is in a great location on the beach and conveniently located in town as well. The hotel was not crowded so there was no waiting or shortages of any kind. We only ate breakfast at the hotel so our knowledge of their food quality is limited, but what we had was good. The drinks are tasty but dont have much alcohol in them, which was common in most of the other bars and restaurants we visited around town. Our stay was quiet and peaceful, no loud partying or disco's at night and no aggressive time share sales reps to avoid. We will go back - the fire pit beside the beach is already calling our name.

“Would defenitely return to this hotel”

The hotel is not "brand new" but they really try to keep it nice and clean and it is. The bed was a little hard for me but everything else was good. We had a plumbing issue with the shower, within 5 minutes after we called the front desk, we had a plumber fixing the problem and the front desk apoologized for the inconvenience. What makes this hotel better than others is the staff who is most helpful, friendly and always give a friendly smile. From the staff at the reception desk to the cleaning staff, everyone is very friendly. The hotel's location is only a short 5 -10 minute drive by bus or taxi to downtown. It also has it's own reserved beach area which kept the vendors away. I would recommend that you do spend a little more on the room, over looking the ocean with the nice kitchenet since there will be times when you'll just want to have something in your room and rlook at the ocean from the balcony. There's a big difference in the room size as well, certainly worth the extra money.

“Relaxation at its Best”

This relatively small hotel is huge in service! The all-inclusive is well worth it as the food is varied and wonderful! The new chef combines flavor with beauty. From the moment you arrive, until you leave, the friendly staff are available to help you. The resort doesn't really offer a spa nor does it offer activities, so if you are interested in the active party scene, this resort may not be for you. However, if you want to relax, eat and drink, you couldn't go wrong. A recent change of ownership may explain running out of tequila and beer a few times. No worries, there is plenty of other available alcohol with tequila and beer arriving soon. The Expedia site doesn't allow for an option to have an ocean view, so when you arrive, you must request the upgrade which may or may not be available.

“Most Relaxing Experience”

I had an amazing vacation in Cabo and staying at Bel Air and had EVERYTHING to do with it! It was so much better than previous reviews had described. AMAZING staff, great pool & restaurant facilities, right on the beach, clean, quiet, and again, the most friendly and hospitable staff that I have EVER received! The food is pretty good, large portions and you'll pay American prices, but the convenience is really nice. If you are a surfer, this is the closest, most affordable resort to the famous breaks Zippers, La Rocas & Old Mans. Also a bonus, the bus stop is directly across the entrance of the Bel Air making an easy and cheap trip to San Lucas or downtown San Jose.

“Great for a relaxing vacation!”

Stayed at the Bel Air in mid December and really enjoyed it! Saw some negative reviews about the hotel before going, but we were very impressed with the hotel. The staff was very friendly, the hotel grounds were very clean and well kept. The attention to detail at the hotel was impressive. The pool and beach area were great, nice and quiet. We had a very nice room in the new building. Only complaint there was that the AC wasn't working. The food was good as well. We had the breakfast only option. They had enough breakfast items on the menu that we felt like we had enough to choose from for the week that we were there.
