Great Location and pool

Posted Feb 27, 2015
Pros: Quiet Location and friendly staff.
Cons: Better mattresses and linens.
Location: On the beach, good pool palappa bar, restaurant in the hotel, fishing launches from the resort (Panga Boats), reasonable prices.
Buena Vista offers a quiet and relaxing experience away from the hustle and bustle of Los Cabos. This hotel is 45 minutes north of the airport and easy to find. The rooms are air conditioned and most have a good view of the pool. This hotel is on the beach and 5 minutes from town.

Remote & relaxing hotel with amazing hot springs!

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Relaxing, remote, quiet, great bargain, tasty food
Cons: Access to scuba and snorkeling; cable TV
Location: Small town about 6 miles away with nice local restaurants, wind surfing, ATV rentals & souvenir shops
This hotel was not what I expected...in a good way. Having never been to the Cabo area before, I booked our stay thinking that this place would be closer to Cabo San Lucas...what we got was the polar opposite. There were no fancy restaurants or nightclubs...not even cable TV (but it has internet)! But what you do get is a beautiful, relaxing resort with a very attentive and accommodating staff. The peace and quiet of the natural springs hot tub and pool, coupled with the great food and drinks made this a very rejuvenating stay for us.

Rustic motel on the beach, family run, not a lot of attention to detail. Restaurant was ok, not great. Beach facility lacks amenities. Go if you like to fish, they have fleet that goes out in the summer.

Another nice visit to BuenaVista Resort

Posted Nov 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
We have stayed at this hotel several previous times. We like the location and ambience. It is late 60s decor, no TV but comfortable and simple. The pool and mineral spa are great. Food and drinks are good and staff friendly. You can take a nice walk on the beach. Fishing is an attraction. Our breakfast was included with the rate.

Pros: Nice people. Staff and visitors. Hot Springs. Nice fishing set up.
Cons: T.V. and refrigurator in rooms.
Location: Did not have time to explore
We came mostly to fish. It was slow but the crew did their best. We all did manage to catch something includuing 1 marlin which was very excitng. I will be back . I wish the rooms had telivision and better access to Ice and maybe an in room refridgerator.

decent low key place....

Pros: staff we're very friendly and nice
Cons: they have 2 kayaks. old and broken. one has half a paddle. they float. and no life jackets
Location: pretty remote. cab cost 20 dollars return to nearest town.
we did quite a lot of beach fishing here in front of the resort, but didn't catch much to write home about. the boats that work out of the resort here were catching a few fish during the 8 days we stayed but I don't think the cortez is what it used to be.
