Awesome ambience

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Cons: Housekeeping could be better. Dishes were not clean and sometimes, the rooms were note swept or mopped. Just overall sloppy cleaning on some days.
Location: Location is away from all activities. Good thing is, the area is not very crowded. Nice to take walks. Lots of good restaurants right outside
Enjoyed our stay here. The resort is beautiful and has a very nice location. Very well maintained. Staff is very friendly and hospitable. Restaurants are very nice and serve excellent food. Variety is a little limited for vegetarians but the staff tried to accomodate our requests. Well maintained pools and outdoors. Villas are spacious with luxurious interiors. Decor is unique and rich.

Amazing Resort and staff

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Ambiance, Spa, Pools, Staff, rooms
Cons: Food
Location: The only downfall is that it was a 25 min. ride into the main city of Cabo. We did a great Art Walk though, in the close-by town of San Jose.
This resort exceeding all my expectations. The pools were great, excellent and attentive staff, and just an all-around beautiful experience.

Wife trip

Posted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: Spa
Cons: Sales pressure to attend 90 minute seminar
Location: Excellent!!!!
Absolutely gorgeous resort!! 5 Star resort, the 1st negative would be the price of food and alcohol is very high, however excellent restaurants and taco shops at walking distance, the 2nd negative would be the sales pressure a soon as you check in to attend a 90 minute seminar on becoming a memeber. We will definitely be back soon.

Little dark

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Location in San Jose del Cabo especially for the Ironman race that week!
Cons: better lighting in the rooms, bedroom too dark for reading
Location: great restaurants across street, close walk to downtown, nice quiet beach
Everything was great but too much romantic lighting, not good for reading.

Amazing hotel in a beautiful laid back location

Posted Mar 21, 2014
Brilliant hotel don't go anywhere else!! Alejandro at the front desk and Manuel by the pool were so great! Facilities, food and drink are second to none! This was our first time and honeymoon and couldn't recommend them highly enough! Make sure you grab a Miami Vice at the pool bar!! To die for!

Great rooms!Great location! Great time!

Posted Mar 19, 2014
Pros: The location and the room size and decor. The service was great as well!
Cons: Booked "garden view"received "parking lot, adjacent hotel view".Per front desk booked w/expedia get these rooms. This was disappointing!!
Location: Art walk on Thursday nights downtown San Jose del Cabo. Great restaurants near by!!
Like Cabo Azul as I prefer the location of San Jose del Cabo VS Cabo San Lucas. The service was great, rooms large and nicely decorated! Loved having a kitchen...(although not used much...:-).This was a great trip ...lots of great restaurants nearby Art walk on Thursday nights and overall very relaxing vacation...

Best Hotel I've Ever Stayed In My Life

Posted Mar 16, 2014
Cabo Azul is the most beautiful resort that you will ever see. The architecture was the highest of quality and detail, the room had the most amazing bed, softest towels, and was cleaned by the housing staff AT LEAST three times a day. The food was the best food I've ever had in my life, both in flavor and aesthetics, as well as the drinks. But the hotel staff was the best of it all, I felt like royalty at the resort. Each worker paid attention to every detail making sure to give you finest service and optimal comfort. There was not a single disgruntled worker and every single worker had a huge smile and genuinely enjoyed making you comfortable. Cabo Azul is located in San Jose which is considered "siesta town" of Cabo so if you're looking for the best restauraunts in all of Mexico and to feel the most relaxed you've ever felt, then come here. You won't regret it. Honestly, no other resort will compare to Cabo Azul so don't bother comparing it to any other resort, just go to Cabo Azul and have the best vacation you've ver had.

Nice hotel

I like everything about this hotel except the activity people and pressure trying to get us to go to the timeshare. Just make us feel really uncomfortable when we said we don't want to go

Great location and very clean resort!

Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Location, the service.
Location: Visit Flora Farms, Drunken Sailor and Chata's Burgers for some great food!
We had a great 6 day stay here. Sat through a time-share presentation and received some gifts. Overall a great property and very clean! Would recommend it!
