Great location and very clean resort!Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Location, the service.
Location: Visit Flora Farms, Drunken Sailor and Chata's Burgers for some great food!
We had a great 6 day stay here. Sat through a time-share presentation and received some gifts. Overall a great property and very clean! Would recommend it!

Lovely hotel, on the beach.Posted Feb 27, 2014
Pros: It is beautiful and very well maintained.
Cons: Nothing can be improved, as far as we could see.
Location: On the beach, which is great. Also close to shopping and other hotels and the old town square is nearby also.
We had a wonderful time at Cabo Azul. The staff could not be more helpful. Especially Abraham, who looks after you at the pool. Couldn't be a more happier, helpful employee. And Alejandro at the front desk was very helpful and very enthusiastic with his job. We had friends staying in the area, so we didn't eat a lot at the restaurants there, but the few times we did we had a great lunch at the poolside restaurant, and our last night at Javier's was wonderful and great food. There was a wedding going on there as well, so we had the benefit of a fireworks show as well. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. The only downside is the push to show us the place on a tour, as it is a time share facility. We were not interested in that facet. The hotel is also within walking distance to the old town square and shopping.

Nice hotelPosted Feb 26, 2014
Cons: Noise insulation of rooms
Overall a very nice experience. Staff is terrific and make you feel very welcome. Pools are awesome and very warm. Location by the beach is fantastic. Rooms are cozy, spacious and well-appointed. Close to old town and a small mall with some nice restaurants right across the hotel. A few concerns we had: - rooms are not well insulated, you can hear anyone walking in the rooms above you - had some noise issues with people partying late at night - concierge trying hard to sell you on time shares - food and drink prices quite high, however food quality is excellent Overall, I would stay there again but would also look at other potential options.

Beautiful StayPosted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: Pools, the staff, location, kitchen.
Cons: Internet speed and sofa.
Location: Tons of great restaurants less than 5 minutes drive.
This place is a great place, people were wonderful, it was obvious they really care. I place a lot of emphasis on how people try to help and provide service, this was obvious everywhere at the resort. The pools were wonderful and pool support team did a great job keeping it the best. I think it is one of the nicest places in San Jose. The two areas that need immediate attention are the internet speed and sofa's are not comfortable. Other than these the place is 10 out of 10.

Beautiful visit to Cabo AzulPosted Feb 24, 2014
My three daughters and a friend joined my husband and I for a truly lovely week at Cabo Azul in a 3 bedroom penthouse unit. The resort is beautiful ! Our unit was very spacious and decorated in a modern , gorgeous way. The beach was perfect! The three infinity pools beautifully designed and expansive. We hated to leave - a great choice!!

ExtraordinaryPosted Feb 21, 2014
Extraordinary experience at Cabo Azul. The resort itself is absolutely gorgeous. Beautifully designed and impeccably maintained. All of the staff, from the front desk agents to the cabana boys were always friendly and helpful. I would absolutely return again and would recommend to friends.

relaxing without crowds in luxury with great foodPosted Feb 17, 2014
After 5 days on the east cape , we came to Cabo Azul ...my first time and my wife's 3rd....we arrived finding out we would have to delay checking in which normally would be a big hassle....however, the amazing front desk manager, Julio, was SOOO accommodating that it seemed not to be a big deal. The pools were wonderful as was the food...both at the poolside cafe and the main restaurant, Javiers. Swimming is not 'allowed' at the beach due to undertow which was over exaggereated as far as could tell. I would definitely return for another visit to San Jose del Cabo.

Nice but wasn't wow"dPosted Feb 15, 2014
16% tax 16% mandatory tip on anything you get food/ drink wise in the facility. 32% is just rediculous. Food was pretty much the same as you would get at a all inclusive. Wifi was not included myself and my wife have 2 devices each it was $67 for the week not that crazy but the coverage was horrible kept logging in and out pool than the lobby worked in tv room not in bed room. Attention to detail was great the rooms were great. 2 bed rooms we didn't need full kitchen. Prob great for a family w kids. We are not drinkers or big eaters so this was something we thought would be good. Few Suggestions breakfast in the internet cafe is good and fast for a light breakfast Walk out of hotel across the street to eat lunch or dinner. Tapas place and sushi and taco place is good. Restaurant to your right on second floor was horrible Resistant to the left on the corner was great ate there 3 times Great weather great facility just wasn't for us. Mid 30S couple w no kids
