Beautiful hotel on beachPosted Nov 8, 2013
Love the amenities. It's in isolated area so taxis get expensive. Best to rent car if you stay here.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!Posted Nov 6, 2013
Cons: Spa should be improved and access to room 431 was very long and confusing.
Location: The Arch in Cabo San Lucas, visit the turtle reserve beach in Todos Santos, visit downtown San Jose del Cabo. Eat at the local restaurant Mazatlan.
Amazing views, atmosphere and great pools! I was not expecting such a nice hotel. The pictures don't do it justice. And since we got such a good deal I thought it was going to be average. IT EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS! The hotel is huge and very very nicely groomed and laid out. It was somewhat of a hike to get to our room (431) but other than that it was great. I was also surprised that the food was really good too. Usually in these large hotels the food is not great but I thought it was very good. We did not do the breakfast plan so we just did the "European Plan" and it was great. We liked going to the bakery in the morning. The spa was so-so. It was the only facility that was not up to par. The jacuzzi, steam room were not working when we went and the massage was ok: not bad at all, just not AMAZING like the rest of the hotel. We rented a car and it was great to have it to drive all over Cabo.

We had a great time at Fiesta Americana. The staff and service was excellent and the food was good. The grounds were very clean and the pools were great. The beach dose have some rocks, but you can still swim, and good for snorkling and there are many fish to see. You can take a shuttle to town right from the hotel that leaves every hour and only cost $20 round trip for two..

A very nice place to stay no only for four daysPosted Oct 23, 2013
There was a little incident that made me feel uncomfortable, but was not a big deal except for the actitud of one of the managers (woman with no good manners unfortunately I forgot her name) but the hotel, the beach, everything for me was great. A very nice vacation.

Nice hotel for the pricePosted Oct 14, 2013
Had a great time. A 20 minute drive from Cabo San Lucas, but that was okay for us. We enjoyed the pool, the sand is ROCKY, keep that in mind. If you want soft sand, you need to be by the marina. The hotel wasn't designed to handle rain very well, and our neighboring room flooded after a pretty good rain. Most of the hotel flooded actually, but the staff was in top of it. Great place to go if you want to be away from the craziness of downtown Cabo San Lucas and Squid Row etc. . .

Fabulous HotelPosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: We would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Cons: Food and prices.
Location: Location was outside of the city, but easy to reach by taxi or car rental. My wife and I had plenty to do at the hotel.
Everything at this resort was top notch. Our maid service was probably the best we have ever had. The seimming pool was superb. The time of year was perfect as it was not crowded at all. I love children but every now and again you need a break from them and this time of year made it perfect to get away as there were not very many and it made our pool visits very relaxing. I thought the food was just OK. The breakfast buffet was very overpriced compared to other resorts that I have stayed at. It was easy to get to town. The two golf courses were Great!! The shuttle made it easy for delivery and pickup. It was a blast. This was a great getaway. Though we were hit with the timeshare deal at the beginning and I was very adament about not doing that, we did enjoy the timeshare presentation and ended up becoming a member of the Vacation Club. That was a Great Deal. Plus we received $250 of food credit. We are excited about our Timeshare space for next year. We have been to Cbo for 12 years and our first time staying at a resort. WE really had no need to go into town as we were quite busy at the hotel.

Buyer Beware!Posted Sep 29, 2013
Pros: The big
I was very pleased with the room and possibly stay here again however, my boyfriend and I encountered a little problem while we were there. We were not allowed to bring in outside food or drinks (ex...groceries). Of course it isn't written anywhere! We were completely embarrassed when we were stopped in the lobby by the hotel staff. We explained that we love to snack in between meals (chips, cookies, drinks, fruit, etc...) and we don't always want to eat a big meal. Although we had a mini fridge and snacks for purchase in the room, they did not allow us back in the room with our groceries. According to staff, the manager transferred us to a hotel villa as a courtesy to us. Fyi...The hotel offers 2 restaurants they serve mexican, pastas, burgers, etc. My recommendation is that if you are a snacker, on a special diet or traveling with kids, you should probably book a room at a different hotel.

Great Views, poor activitiesPosted Sep 21, 2013
Pros: The views were great, the staff were very nice, and the rooms were clean
Cons: Don't close the pool bar so early. Retrain waiters. Provide an alternative to expensive dinners. Open a Mexican restaurant. Need more/better activity
If you are looking to stay at the Mexican version of the American country club come to Fiesta Americana. The views are beautiful, the pools are very nice, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are very clean. However, (1) food is EXTREMELY expensive for what you are purchasing (think Flemings or Houstons; really expensive steak restaurants but definitely not as good), (2) the pool bar closes at 6ish, (3) the only food available at night is either Italian or American (no Mexican food), (4) the activities planned out at the hotel are sad at best, (5) wait staff tend to ignore you unless you speak Spanish (my wife and I waited at the Italian restaurant for 1 hour and 45 minutes and only ordered 2 glasses of wine and a lasagne, who knew that it took half an hour to poor wine), and (6) it is fairly expensive to get into Cabo (not to mention kind of a hassle). All in all if you are staying a couple days, don't mind spending money, and want to relax by the pool and enjoy the good views (all the while knowing that 6pm and onward there is nothing to do) come here. Otherwise look somewhere else.

Close to beach but far from shopping centersPosted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: Very clean
Cons: More food items and if you can pay in US dollars.
Location: Nothing! It's too far from everything only option is to take taxi or shuttle to the center so you can shop! But doing that everyday gets too expensive
It was very beautiful, but I would never go back. It was too far away from everything I felt like I was locked in there! It's more for older people who would rather just stay at the resort.
