A feast for the eyePosted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: The location and the friendliness of the staff. The all inclusive nature of the stay was a great attraction.
Cons: 1. A way to control the flies while eating. 2. There was a stain on the couch. (a reflection on the guest and not on the resort)
Location: St Jose del Cabo was delightful. Cabo San Lucas was more for shopping.
The resort is ideally located with multiple clean pools. The rooms are spacious with well stocked mini bar. The staff was exceptionally friendly and competent. The restaurants offer variety of tasty foods.

Wonderful experiencePosted Jan 26, 2015
Loved FiestAmericana! It was our first trip to Cabo, won't be our last! This hotel is awesome! For the details... There is amazing food and top shelf alcohol. We could see whales from our balcony. We golfed at the ocean view course, beautiful. The staff is outstanding. I cannot say enough great things. If your looking for club atmosphere, you won't find it here though. We will go back!

Great winter getawayPosted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: The property was very conducive to a relaxing trip. The views of the Sea of Cortez were stunning!
Cons: If you are looking for night life after 10:00 pm this is not an ideal location, although town is only a cab ride away.
We just finished a great seven day stay at Fiesta Americana Los Cabos. Despite the recent hurricane the property was in great shape and we had a fantastic time. The property is well maintained and very clean and comfortable. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly and a joy to be around. Highly recommend this location.

Nice hotel with beautiful ocean viewsPosted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: The service was great and the staff was friendly. The pools, grounds and view were all gorgeous! Very clean hotel! Italian restaurant was very good.
Cons: Get rid of the flys, they tried but weren't quite successful. Rooms could use some updating.
Location: About 20 to 30 minutes from Cabo San Lucas. Lots of places to golf. Fishing, whale watching, catamaran rides.
The only thing I have to complain about is one night when we got back to our room we were without water. I think we were out of water for about 8 hrs. Luckily it was back on at 6:00 am, but a few other people I spoke to were not as fortunate, they were out of water at more inconvient times. Other than that everything was great, especially the service. We really enjoyed the food at the Pennisula restaurant and the Italian restaurant. The live music at night was fun. The hotel was really clean. Overall a great trip and a beautiful place.

great locationPosted Jan 26, 2015
Cons: Phone connection in time share units need to be repaired. Air condition has some minor problems.
Location: We visited Cabos San Lucas and San Jose, beautiful old Mexican town with many shops and historic sites
we were three couples who celebrated a 76th birthday at the Fiesta Americana. The accommodations were excellent. Although we had asked ahead of time to have our rooms reasonable close together, one couple was assigned to a time share unit; while the other two couples had rooms close to the hotel on the third floor.I believe the room numbers were # 328 and #335. In the end everything worked out very well. All employees ought to be complimented for their wonderful and always friendly service.

Living like a king. Beautiful location by beach.Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Great selection of food. Great service. Location by the beach.
Cons: Have a clock in the room. Have a telephone with room service on it & menu for room service. Do not disturb / privacy sign.
Location: Whale watching and tropical fish watching. Look at coral reef and shells on the beach.
Great break from the cold. We loved the surf and the sand. Food was first rate. Next time, we might stay longer. We loved the all-inclusive feature. Lived like kings / royalty.

We highly recommend this resortPosted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: the setting, the location between Los Cabos and San Jose, not in the crowded Los Cabos area.
Cons: The beach is not ideal for swimming. Only one English TV program CNN. Temp control of air condition not working. Water level toilette
Location: We went and toured Los Cabos and San Jose.i We had intended to go Whale Watching, but were able to see them from the Hotel.
We were three couples. After arriving from the airport we were greeted with a welcome drink in the beautiful lobby.. Our first room assignments were not quite satisfactory since that particular building did not have telephone service, due to a major Hurricane on September 15th 2014.They are working on getting the telephone service back. Otherwise you would not have been able to tell how much destruction the storm must have caused. You can definitely still see it when you drive off the F.A. property. We were very happy with our new rooms and were sad to have to leave after 5 days. This was our first "all inclusive" experience and we were amazed at was being offered. All the food, drinks and even alcohol was included. They have various full service restaurant and the food was good. Our favorite was the Rosada. Overall the service was fabulous, everyone was friendly and accommodating, no request was too much. "Ola" and a smile was the norm. For a Birthday celebration we went to the Sunset Mona Lisa Restaurant, which is all outdoors, right on the water. We experienced a beautiful sunset and the food was amazing. A bit pricey, but worth it. . .

Great room with a beautiful view.Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and well kept. Rooms were clean, restaurants had great food and amazing staff.
Cons: Wish there would of been more entertainment during the day...even if it was just some music playing by the pool.
Location: Downtown Cabo San Lucas was just a taxi ride away. Lots of shopping, beautiful things to see.
Staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly. The food and drinks were the best I have ever had with a All-Inclusive Resort.

Hurricane? What Hurricane?Posted Jan 22, 2015
Pros: The wait-staff did a FINE job of providing just the right concoction at the proper time: from mimosas in the morning to martinis in the evening.
Cons: The Italian restaurant could do a better job on the pasta + too much Salt was added to the other dishes.
Location: Location is ideal -- one of the first off the shuttle upon arrival and one of the last to be picked up on the way to the airport.
Many of the hotel employees assisted in the rebuilding efforts: they quickly refurbished this demolished hotel after the September And oh my, they have done such a fine job of restructuring. Beautiful grounds, immaculate pools and hot spas, very nice beach, though the sand is a bit rough, clear water, lots of fish right next to shore, and it was fun watching the pelicans availing themselves of the unsuspecting fishies. Wonderful staff: oh so welcoming and very professional. John Kirwan, the Managing Director of the hotel was right there during the rebuild, helped to start a charity to assist the locals (the Posadas Foundation) and each day wanders the site, pushing the elevator buttons for you sometimes, welcoming guests and encouraging his staff. It's nice to see a smooth-running operation: it's so obviously a positive team effort. The rooms are super-clean, the showers had lots of water and pressure, and the spa tub (highly recommended) was super comfortable. The maid service was most excellent -- lots of extra attention to detail, plus welcoming messages left on the bed, laid out in colored rice! One of the best steaks we have ever had at the steak restaurant, and the fish tacos were superb.
