Great view and stay

Hotel great-EXPEDIA NOT GOOD AT ALL SINCE WAS ADVERTISED AS ALL INCLUSIVE AND WAS NOT!!! EXPECTING ALL INCLUSIVE FOR WHAT WAS PAID. Will never use Expedia anymore!

awful travel experience

It's a hotel with much potential but ruined by horrendous customer service, major ongoing construction, poor atmosphere and uninspired food. Half of the pools were closed. Outdoor massages were disturbed by passing tractors and drilling. Our holiday was salvaged only by spending the last two days at another hotel. Truly a disappointment.

Excellent hotel and staff only thing was the repairs after the hurricane but no problem plenty of pool space

Wonderful Hotel

Pros: location, The restaurant LaRoca was excellent, great views of the pacific.
Cons: Bring back the beach, waiting for nature may take a very long time. The food at restaurant Don Luis was mediocre at best and should be improved.
Location: You can walk to Lover's Beach and the Arch. Town was a ten minute walk.
Wonderful Hotel. Beautiful location, easy walk to town. Rooms were superb. Staff were very nice and always helpful. Lot of construction going on, distracts from the charm. Noise was never a problem. I found the prices at the restaurants and convenience store more than fair. I was expecting to be gouged and was very pleased not to be. We will be returning.

Amazing Resort

Pros: The rooms and the pool side service was great!!
Cons: Better selection for dining. Food was good, but not much variety, especially if you're looking for local flavor.
Location: Everything is with in a $10.00 cab ride, free shuttle or a good walk.
Even with the construction finishing up, this place was amazing. The room was beyond our expectations. The resort is far enough from town to have a secluded, relaxing get away, and close enough to town to walk to all the shopping and parties. Laying around the pool with drinks and food is a good call at this resort. The message at the spa was top shelf, except for the occasional tractor driving by, but hardly noticed. The ONLY recommendation I would make would be to have Mexican food at you Mexican resort. The food we had was a little pricey, but excellent. Drinks were priced fair and were not watered down. Shared transportation was not the way to go. I would call the resort to set that up through them, or set up your own private transfers from the air port. Cab to the resort is about $90.00 each way.

Overpriced Timeshare Trap....

Not only is this hotel a "time share trap", but the service from the staff was horrific. The first evening, and we were paying $500 a night, there was no running water. Not just no hot water, but literally no water. The staff refused to move us to another building or even refund the one evening. Secondly, you are "hounded" the minute you check in to "take a 90 minute tour" the next morning. Being so mad that we had been misled, we took the tour, ate their breakfast and took their $300 resort credit. I am fine if you want to try to sell people timeshare, but they were relentless. As for the property itself, the gym was nice but closed at 3. There are only 2 restaurants on site- ridiculously overpriced as well. The fact that , if you scan the pics of this property on hotels.com and see pics of Las Vegas' V'dara and Venetian mixed in- should be a clue. This place is one big market in front. Overpriced, misleading advertiser and simply a timeshare trap....NOT worth more than $200 a night.

You can make sure that it was never our intention to provide you not a very good service. We wil consider your comments about the prics of the resturant, but you can make sure that our prices are standard from other restaurats. Also, our fitnes cneter open monday to friday from 6am until 9pm. Just saturday and sunday close at 3pm. Again we apologies that your experience was not as expected, but we wil be mor than happy to assist you again at our resort.

NICE 4 STAR HOTEL

Pros: Location for relaxation
Cons: Better variety of food in restaurants.
Location: Beach/Beach activities about of 15 minutes away.shopping also same.
Nice hotel in front of beach,however cannot enter the water in this side of the beach.beach about 15 minutes by taxi. Restaurants ok.Bar excellent.only one pool working now.staff polite.The front desk can be be better.

Location: ATVing, horse back riding, swim with dolphins, spa treatments
The Resort was under construction during our stay which is why I gave a 4 instead of a 5 for hotel facilities. Even with the construction the resort is fantastic! The rooms are beautiful with breath taking views, food was great, gym is amazing, staff is top notch.

Great Hotel Rooms, Fabulous dining experience.

Pros: Beautiful location. Clean and beautiful facility.
Cons: Nothing once the new construction is complete!
Location: Great walk to the marina. Lots of restaurants, shops, boat activities, etc.
Our experience was excellent. Beautiful location, friendly staff, great facilities. The only disadvantage is that there was quite a bit of construction going on as they were building a new Front Desk Lobby and rebuilding their infinity pool area because of the damage that occurred during the last hurricane. Unfortunately with any new construction, it detracts from the completed beauty.
