A great place to stay!

We were greeted by a hurricane but we couldn't have chosen a better place to endure this disaster. The staff was beyond anyone's expectations. It was a nightmare that was softened by the wonderful treatment of the staff. The place was very nice when we arrived and a total wreck when we left. We want to go back there after the place is repaired to enjoy the amenities we heard about while hunkering down for the hurricane.

Overall, the entire experience was very good and it's a good deal for the price we paid. The room is big and nice with a jet bath tub. Food quality was mediocre - However, given that they have a lot of varieties (2 buffets and 5 a la carte) and for the money we paid, it's an absolutely good deal. Note that probably it was low season (it was September, school is in, Hurricane season), not all of the a la carte restaurants were open everyday. Hotel staff was all nice and well trained.

Beautiful resort! Exceptional service!

We were at the resort to attend a wedding, but the couple made a great choice in choosing the Hyatt Ziva! Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. In the week that we were there we never managed to figure out the AC but we never asked for help either...my husband and I can't agree on what temperature a room should be anyway. We had other family members staying at the resort as well who had young children and they were disappointed to learn that the kids water park area was closed. When they inquired, no explanation was given...it was just closed! There were also a couple of the restaurants that weren't open. I'm not certain of the reason...we were there during their low season and the resort was no where near capacity. The food was great with plenty of choices with both buffets and a la carte restaurants. The staff and service was exceptional. We found everyone friendly and helpful.

Cons: The shows could be earlier on occasion for us non-night owls
Location: Cabo adventure tours offered a great morning of camel riding. So cool!
The service, room, and food were all fantastic. The choices for food types were amazing. Just a stunningly beautiful place to relax and have fun.

Great resort, great staff! 3rd visit. Have not been able to dine at Corral restaurant. It has been closed when I visit. I have sent several couple to the resort and they say it is their favorite restaurant .

This is a very nice hotel with great staff and suprisingly very good food. The buffet is above average for sure with plenty of variety but the a la cart resturants are exceptionally good. They provide high quality food and service, no different than what you would expect from high-end fine dining restaurants. Just make sure to abide by the dress code as it is strictly enforced. The nightly entertainment in the theater is great too. Overall very satisfied and would definitely stay here again.

The first two days of our stay it was raining but the hotel was great about making fun activities inside and keeping all the areas safe. This was our second time here and it's A great place!

Rain rain go away

My wife and I stayed from Aug 30th thru Sept 6th 2014 our first 5 days were incredible. The last two due to heavy rains which obviously is not the hotel's fault. Made it hard to enjoy ourselves. All activities were canceled. So we did a spa day. Which was a bit pricey. very relaxing, Great entertainment. From big Brian & Maria which were great people they were very friendly. Great food the French place by far was the best. Over all experience I'll give it 8 out of 10. And that's enough to bring me back see you guys in March:)

Hotel staff is extremely friendly. Food and drinks are alright. A little bit of maintenance is needed on the exterior. I did not like the timeshare people. They used their "official government position" top stop and speak with them. Other than that, great time.

Pros: The food was delicious & very friendly staff.
Cons: Ensure that all servers at the restaurants have a good understanding of English to ensure good customer service.
Location: Glass bottom boat to the arch, tequila tasting, blown glass factory, local Mexican restaurants, & visit both towns.
This hotel has amazing views and great staff! I really enjoyed my time poolside and the food was delicious! I highly recommend this place for your next getaway/vacation!
