“Loved This Resort!”
Me and my fiance stayed at the Riu Palace in Cabo for 5 days, 4 nights in Nov 2011 and it was amazing! The staff was always do friendly n helpful, our room was kept tidy by housekeeping (they even folded us a turkey out of towels for Thanksgiving!), the grounds were very nice and beautiful, lots of activities to keep you busy and loved the variety of food! All Inclusive is the only way to go, definitely worth the money. The only issue we had were a few little bugs that would find their way into our room since we were right outside the garden. Besides that, we couldn't have asked for more... except maybe a few more days for us to soak up the lovely sunny weather. Made our first trip to Mexico spectacular! Will definitely book with the Riu resorts again!
“Superb!”
We found the Riu in Cabo to be the best place on land we've ever stayed. The service was wonderful and the all inclusive price allowed us to try foods and drinks we've never tried.
“"Perfect for a Group Celebration!"”
This is the perfect spot for a group celebration! There were twelve of us and it was easy and comfortable to be in small groups or all together. Since it was all inclusive resort there was no worry about the bill, who ordered what, whose tab it was on etc. The ease of just having a room key and nothing more to keep track of was great! The grounds were nice, location to town a quick cab ride although most of us didn't leave. The food overall was good and so was the service.I would definitely go back!
“Best Resort in Mexico”
The resort was excellent, the beach and ocean beautiful, and the staff was exceptional. I've never been to a hotel so accommodating.
“All inclusive and there not kidding”
This was our first all inclusive also the first time to Cabo San Lucas. You are treated all to well at the Riu Palace from the minute you get there until you leave. When they say all inclusive that is exactly what it is. We had a great time and the weather was great. The grounds are immaculate the pools are great. Plan on doing Thanksgiving again next year.
“will be going back”
We tried it and loved it. Great service. Had fun lots of it.
“Great Engagement Proposal Trip”
My new fiance and I had a wonderful time! The hotel accomodations and wait staff were very good. The resturaunt food choices and quality were great. The breakfast buffet and the French resturaunt were by-far the best! We had a fun-fill packed time, while also having time to relax. The view from the hotel was amazing and each room had their own ocean view of some-sort. We got engaged while on our trip and it made for icing on the cake! We would definitely go back! There were only 2 downfalls - 1) we had to wait 2 hours to check into out hotel which cut some sun time out on our first day and 2) while waiting for our massages at the Spa, we were unable to utilize the sauna or hot tubs because of the way the Spa is set up; the Spa can be bigger and a little more lavish with access to their ammenities if you are paying for services there. All-in-all, a great time!
“Not as promised”
Overall quality was good. I would like the Pool area to stay open longer. Was with large group of 15 and in the evening when we arrived back from fishing it was already too late to enjoy the pool. My reservation said Jr. Suite Ocean view and was not Ocean View. Felt I did not receive the room I paid for.
“FABULOUS RESORT”
This was our first time to Cabo so we didn't know what to expect. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with many smiles. The staff was extremely friendly and made our stay perfect. We were about a 5 minute cab ride from the marina and a 3 minute boat ride to Lovers Beach. This is a place we will definitely return to in the future.
“Celebrating 40 in Cabo”
The hotel is older architecture but well maintained. The "all-inclusive" restaurants are a joke. Good luck getting into more than 2 "reservation" only dining venues. You must stay at least a week to enjoy all of the restaurants on site. I also found it odd that the tables at these restaurants are never fully occupied but are unavailable for reservations. We were staying with a group for a birthday party so all-inclusive was the way to go. We will try the Pueblo Bonito next time.
