Great Experience

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: staff - very friendly
Cons: replace mattress
I would have normally given a 5 for all and would definitely recommend, however the only downside to the stay was the bed was too hard.

Nice hotel & close on the beach

Posted Mar 15, 2015
Pros: It was clean, safe, and close to shopping center.
Cons: Check-in is strict at 3pm; our flight came in at 10am.
Location: The beaches are rough sand and the water/current was too rough also for swimming. Located near the Mega mall which has a several stores & restaurants.
We had a great time staying at this hotel. Los Cobos is a beautiful place to see. The food was good; would recommend trying the food at the snack bar it was fresh and hot. The rooms were neat and clean. Alcoholic drinks ask for the liquor you prefer to be added. Entertainment loud until about 11pm (can hear from room) if you have small kids with. Check in was probably the only complaint of the trip. Majority of the staff very courteous and nice. Beaches too rough for snorkeling or swimming and sand more corse. If your cell phone does not work you can purchase a calling card at local Radio-shack in Mega mall and use at pay phones located on street by hotels. Nice for families or couples not looking for spring break party.

Affordable family trip!

Posted Mar 14, 2015
This was a great resort & very affordable for a family of 4. Breakfast was delicious. Lunch was okay, but still good. Dinner was the same, but still good. The negative is you can't get in the ocean. It's a tease. Everything else was awesome! Entertainment was great!!

A small, no frills resort that tries.

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: Rooms and grounds very very clean. Staff are very helpful.
Cons: do not charge a separate rate for wifi or a room safe. Visitors want to know their valuables are safe and shouldn't have to pay extra for that luxury
Location: Art Walk on Thursday night in the town Center is very nice. Not much else to do Jose San Cabo. Take a day trip to Cabo San Lucas to see the marina.
Stayed at the RDC Fe. 28-Mar. 7. It was a nice, clean hotel with very professions , helpful staff. Unfortunately, they don't have a lot to offer aside from the pool and walking the beach( you can't swim in the ocean due to the undertow), and we quickly became bored. The food in the buffet was very poor with limited choices and the Luna restaurant is nicer with a menu ordering system but it's by reservation only and the spots go quick. No bottled beer on- site and you have 2 draught choices, dark or regular beer. There is no sports bar or lounge inside the hotel to mingle in at night and the entertainment shows are pretty amateurish. It is a small hotel that bills itself as a family hotel but I think kids will become bored very quickly here after a day or two. They also charge a daily fee for the room safe and a daily/weekly rate for wifi coverage that I thought was a way of "nickel & dimeing" you for more funds. You can walk freely around town, there's a great grocery store across the street and US funds are accepted everyone so no real reason to convert to pesos( which were going for 15 pesos to $1 US dollar last week). You can ride one of city buses anywhere in town for a dollar OT take a bus to Cabo San Lucs for the day at $3 per person, one way. One word of advice, avoid the time share sharks at the airport who are standing around the lobby after you clear Customs. The real transportation companies and drivers have to wait outside the airport.

Posted Mar 5, 2015
Pros: See above
Cons: Not every room can be accommodated with the elevators. However, the bellboy will carry your luggage to your room.
Location is convenient. On the beach. Helpful, friendly, personable staff. Superb food, great entertainment at night,

Great location for a relaxing stay

Posted Mar 4, 2015
The entire hotel was well taken care of. The grounds were amazing. Hotel staff was very helpful especially the activities team. However, evening activities began at 9 pm which made for loud/long evenings. I would definitely return to this hotel. One of my most relaxing trips to date.

Easy getaway

Posted Mar 2, 2015
The area has recovered from the hurricanes with resilience. The all inclusive package is generous but can attract a crowd similar to Vegas that starts drinking from breakfast time onwards. The only down side is you can't swim in the ocean due to the under tow and no surf patrol and the microphone MC around the pool was unnecessary.
