Not the place for partying in Cabo but still good

Posted Apr 23, 2015
Had a rough start due to our alcoholic debaughery , had to pay 100 dollars in incidentals for a crusty 2 dollar trash bin which was charged 15 dollars plus some other items but that was our fault . This was definitely not the place for partying . With their strict rules and no guests allowed in , EVEN THOUGH WE PAID FOR 8 people , when 3 of them left on the second day they still were strict on people who could come in. The staff was polite but very condescending. Lesson learned though, it was still a very great room and a very low cost but definitely not a room that fit our needs .

Nice, quiet place to stay close to the marina

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: Nobody disturbed my sleep. Every day, the bed would be made up and new towels would be provided even though I wasn't expecting this.
Cons: Not much. The hotel cannot be responsible for the mosquito problem in Cabo. Leave doors and windows closed in the evening, lights off when out.
Location: A short walk from the marina, where there are many, many places to eat, or activities to select from, lots of shopping, nightlife, many other things.
After doing a careful search, I saw that this hotel would be most likely to provide me with a nice, quiet room. I was pleased to find that this is exactly what I found here, and at a much more reasonable price than the others. I stayed one week during Spring break and was very pleased. When I left, I inadvertently threw away my immigration card which I admit I was told to hold on to, in the hotel trash can under the kitchen sink. The hotel employees not only found the document in the trash, they gave suggestions on how to handle the matter at the airport without having to produce my card, saving me from having to pay a taxi driver to bring the card the 29 miles and allowing me to get on the flight I had intended to be on.

Great Value

Pros: Clean, boutique-style hotel with reasonable rates, nice size kitchens and within walking distance of multiple dining and entertainment venues in Cabo.
Cons: Longer front office hours, and make it easier to override two hour time limit on air conditioning.
Location: Short walk to the marina, which is surrounded by several restaurants and shops.
The neighborhood is very safe, no doubt, since our hotel room key was left in an envelope taped on the small registration office door when we arrived shortly after the 5:00 p.m. office closing time. It was a short walk to one of the main strips in Cabo for dining and nightlife as well as an easy walk to the nearby casino. Room was spacious and clean with nice kitchen facilities, free WiFi, and HD tv with plenty of options in English. The air conditioning was effective, but had a two hour time limit, which required us to get up a few times throughout the night to switch it back on. We assume the hotel staff could have adjusted the time limit, but did not find out since we only stayed one night. Even so, it would be a great option for someone to stay slightly off the beaten path, enjoy a comfortable and clean room as well as save a few dollars over the larger hotel chains.

Wonderful two days at San Angel Suites!

Posted Mar 7, 2015
Pros: . Clean, comfortable, excellent value. The room was very quiet and the beds were comfortable - and I am fussy about that.
Cons: I mentioned to the manager that it would be nice if they would put in a ceiling fan, would be nice with the vaulted ceilings.
Location: Very close to downtown and shopping plus it is very near the marina.
We flew in two days early since the Saturday flights to come in to our timeshare tended to be much more expensive than other days of the week. By flying in Thursday, we saved enough on the airfare to pay for the two nights at San Angel. I was a little concerned about the rooms because of the very affordable rate, but when we walked in we were very pleasantly surprised with how clean and pleasant it was and it was extremely spacious. The room had a kitchenette with full size fridge that more than met our needs. We were within an easy stroll from downtown, in fact I walked to Cabo Coffee in the morning and back to get coffee for my wife and it was only about 4 blocks each way, with numerous restaurants along the way to check out for breakfast. There was a hot tub but we did not get a chance to try it. The manager said there was also a special rate if you wanted to stay a month which sounded very good.

Pros: Quiet and close.
Cons: Few small problems, but fixes being made as we left.
Location: Three blocks from marina. Solomon's nearby, great place to eat.
Met other friendly guests, easy access to marina by foot, close to markets and money exchange.

Nice hotel, convenient,

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Good location, quiet, with good access to dining and activities in Cabo. If you wish to BBQ, there is an outdoor grill on site.
Cons: For two people it needs a little more furniture. There is a single comfortable chair for watching TV, and another single normal chair at a desk.
Location: Fairly central to most Cabo activities.
If one is looking for a comfortable hotel, with kitchenette, jacuzzi and outdoor gas BBQ available to guests, well located for access to many activities, this is a good option. If one is looking for a resort with many activities on site, this is not it.
