"Great hotel to relax at"
Solmar was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was better than we expected. The only negatives were a time share pitch at check-in and the lack of a non-swim up bar.

"Can't Beat Cabo"
This was our 3rd stay at Barcelona Grand Faro in San Jose del Cabo. It's a good alternative to the livelier Cabo San Lucas if you want to relax. It's an all- inclusive, and I've had some of the best- prepared food I' be had the pleasure to eat. Beer is mostly Corona. However, we got plenty of offers for margaritas and other mixed drinks. If you sit near the pool area, a staff member will eventually get to ypu if you don't go to them. The grounds are very well kept, and the staff attentive, particularly the food staff. Lolo and Luis provide particularly good service for breakfast at Las Ola's. There's a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner and 2 sit-down restaurants for dinner as well. In the evenings, the hotel provides a show with live music and dancing. A Mega store is walking distance with everything from pharmacy to clothes to food. A short walk in the opposite direction will get you to a nice little commercial area with cafes, coffee, drinks and others. I particularly enjoyed the juices at 100℅ Natural. There's also a little live music at a Jazz Tapas place there. We did n't feel a need for a car as you can get a bus into the Cabo downtown/ marina area for 30-35 pesos; it'll get you there in about 40 minutes. I'm fairly certain we'll be back as it's one of the most guest-centered hotels we've had the pleasure to stay at.

"Amazing staff and very courteous. "
Loved the location and the suite was very impressive. The food was very good and it was nice to have 2 other properties included to share meals there. The staff was outstanding and knowledgeable. Speaking English was not a problem. The views and layout of the resort were very complimented by the landscaping and over all ambiance. We traveled with our adult children with spouses and it fit all of our needs.

The hotel was really nice, clean and comfortable. They gave us a free room upgrade which meant we had a very spacious one bedroom room. This was our first holiday without our kids, so we really appreciated having an adults only pool and cocktails delivered poolside. The cocktails were weak as others have mentioned, but that suited me perfectly and you can ask for double strength which my husband liked much better. The place did seem quite family friendly too. What we did not like was the time share sales pitch. Actually they just offered us a free breakfast, but it turned out to be a time share presentation. Do NOT take them up on the special free breakfast, and just eat the breakfast in the onsite restaurant. Another thing we did not like was that all inclusive paln did not include internet. The charge was $10 per day, per device.

"Nice property but "All Inclusive?""
Ok nice room and pool plus on the beach so good location and fun - kids (19, 17) loved it. But for every meal or drink you were asked "All Inclusive" and if you said yes - you got to wait 20 minutes for a table (even thought there were open tables) and then you got the open table that no one wanted in the first place. You got smaller drinks and they came back less often to serve you. By day 3 we figured it out - if they directed us to the worst table we said no - if there was a wait we pointed out the open table we wanted - if they ignored us we just took it anyway. Take advantage of the Blanco property next door - better dining experience - and go to Sunset pools (but Sunset not included in Inclusive deal). If you want to hang out at a nice pool (many different pools) go to Sunset - if you have older kids that want to meet other kids and party on the beach and so on go to Rose or Blanco. Also eat at Ediths - WOW!!!! How does a US cattleman get the best steak in a long time in Cabo? JET SKI - YES

"The price is right,"
The Pueblo Bonita Pacifica is a fabulous place for a quick getaway! The all inclusive adult package is the way to go. The rooms are decent and clean but not many extras. Although we purchased a deluxe room we did opt for the ocean view upgrade which came at an additional $55.00 a night, it turned out to be 25 % more including tax. The pool areas were really nice and not overly crowded at least during the week. The only downfall was I really wish they had a drink menu, opting for choices that your server suggests were not usually my favorite. Other than that I give it a big "thumbs up"!
