Would think twice about booking again

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights after spending 6 nights in a different hotel. I had originally booked a junior suite with a garden view. When the woman checking us in asked if we wanted to upgrade to an ocean view room for "$50", we said yes! However, when we got to the room, the view was indeed excellent, but our room had 2 double beds - not even queen sized! I called to ask if there was a room with one king/queen bed, but there were not. It would have been nice of her to tell us the bed situation, or maybe not even offer an upgrade when we're clearly a couple and have no need for 2 small-ish beds. It also would have been nice of her to tell us upfront that the upgrade was $50 PER NIGHT, rather than total for the 2 nights that we were there. Had we been staying for any longer than 2 nights, this would have been an issue. My only other complaint about the room is that although it comes with a small kitchen (where we did do some minor cooking, like eggs for breakfast), there were no paper towels or napkins in the room. Every other resort I've stayed at with a kitchen has provided paper towels. Otherwise, the view from the room was beautiful, the pool area was a bit crowded (and no swim up pool bar....which I thought was a Cabo staple!), and immediate access to the beach and ability to walk to town was definitely a plus. I may or may not stay here again in the future - at least now I know what to expect!

Great hotel, great staff.

Pros: Location to the beach and the view.
Cons: Need hammocks!!!
Location: We liked the paddle board availability and the tour of the Arch.
Hotel recommended by a friend and it was a win! The location is great and within walking distance to the marina with a great beach. The staff was amazing - Raymondo was exceptionally attentive. Thank you for a great vacation.

Good facilities

Hotel staff were incredibility rude, the front desk staff on arrival wasn't interested in answering any questions- they just referred you to the 'pushy concierge' that tried to sell you everything under the sun including a gold card in which you only get if you interested in a timeshare of course. When we explained to Maria the concierge that we wasn't interested in anything she offered she became very rude and was reluctant to even give us a free resort map, is that a way to treat paying customers!!!! The concierge then called my room the next morning literally hounding us to buy something, they called 3 times in the end. The only staff that were remotely nice were the bell boys outside the the front, they was always friendly and willing to help. There are a limited amount of sunbeds also, when the hotel is full there are simply not enough to go round. We really did receive extremely poor service from the staff.

Perfect Location! Close to everything

Pros: Location
Cons: The pools and jacuzzi should be open later and the room service needs to also go later.
Location: Location is perfect. You can walk 10 minutes down the beach to party, cab rides are inexpensive to just about anywhere as well
We have stayed at this resort a few different times and always enjoy it. The location is great, the ammenities are good and the price is perfect. We have referred numerous friends to this resort as well.

Okay hotel with great beach access

Spent five nights in this hotel. Had a room in the main lobby building, which was furthest from the beach, and unfortunately loud. The building is an atrium style that echos the noise from the lobby and all floors and starts at about 7am. If you plan on sleeping in, this may not be the hotel for you! My toilet did not flush properly right from checkin and it took three different maintenance men over three days to get it unclogged. We had to go downstairs to do our business. I finally had a fit and demanded another room... Low and behold they actually got it fixed, but not before accusing me of putting something down it. The pool area is lovely and has great access to the beach. Service around the pool really depends on the server you get. Some of them are fantastic and will make any request happen, but some of them you literally have to chase down just to get a drink. We had the all inclusive package but were still leaving tips for good service, it didn't seem to help with some of the servers! The food is delicious and the Bella California restaurant right at the beach has a fantastic view of the water and Lands End. Restaurant staff was lovely and much more attentive than the pool staff. Didn't eat at the big buffet restaurant by the upper pool because they had nightly shows and themes that were obnoxiously loud. There was no way to hold a conversation even walking by the restaurant, let alone eating at it!

Hotel is dated and they nickel and dime you!

We stayed here for 2 days and could wait to check out. Estancia and del Arco are much nicer. The front desk staff are terrible here. Check your bill as they add things on that you didn't charge and to remove them is a huge argument. They charge for everything and do the bare minimum to make your stay pleasant.

Was not told about a water outage. No hot water one night and water off next day. Told it was a boken pipe. No compensation offered.

Nice size, comfortable, pull out sofas ?

Pros: Well maintained for an older motel! Clean, great staff food was fine too.
Cons: Pull out sofas replaced.
Location: Lots to do close by, we were there for a wedding so had limited time. We did the glass bottom boat and it was well worth 10$ each.
Overall very satisfied, a bit of a pain signing for everything. Would stay again. Clean ,great staff food was good too.

Worst service I've experienced at a hotel in my life pre booked my stay but was charged an extra 1800 dollars when I arrived when I asked what for I was told to pay it or leave pretty much

Staff Eleazas and Lienesis rocked at Sports bar

Pros: Location was amazing, beach front, close to downtown Cabo and almost walkable if you can take the heat. Overall service was great and love the kitchen
Cons: Could be updated and dusted a bit more. Buffet could be improved and free wifi on beach and lobby would be an amazing thing. No free wifi sucked big.
Location: Great restaurants and more affordable at the Marin downtown, as well as great clubs, shops all over the place.
The initial check-in experience wasn't the best due to Expedia not adding a note to the reservation team which caused a long delay and confusion. It was fixed finally, but initially the hotel wanted to charge us an additional charge, which we certainly were not going to pay. Needless to say that aspect was a pretty stressful start to our vacation. After that fiasco everything else was fine, although we didn't get a pool view but a garden view and I think that was due to the crappy check-in experience. Please ask for ocean or at least pool view, otherwise not so great, I know a lot of people posted saying all views are great and your not going to be in the room that much anyway, which is true, but you have to rest at some point and having a great view would have made it that much more enjoyable. Didn't do all inclusive and glad I didn't, breakfast buffet wasn't great, but did enjoy the fruit and OJ. We didn't eat at the hotel much with the exception of the breakfast ala carte on the beach which was better than buffet and the amazing sports bar and grill with amazing wait staff as you know from my title, and I have to give a shout out to Eleazas and Lienesis again for making me and my friend feel so welcome and our last night gave us chocolate covered strawberries (awesome)!!! Overall, everything else was great.
