We were so excited about staying at the resort. But have to say, we were disappointed. The resort and grounds are beautiful. The golf course was beautiful and very well maintained The spa was very nice. Michelle was a wonderful. I would recommend her for any body service. Our biggest disappointment was the food! For the price, our expectations were higher. We had many meals during our stay and were disappointed after each meal. Some things were good, and some were not at all! We loved sitting outside in the evenings around the fire pits, but one evening we had to asked the bar manager numerous times to have them turn the fire pit on by the pizza bar. They never came. She kept saying engineering would come, but they never did. We sat for over an hour eating and waiting, but no luck. She acted annoyed by our request. House keeping did a great job on the room. However, The tub in our room must have just been recently painting because there were many paint chips floating in the bath tub water. I had to rinse off in the shower. The resort is beautiful! But I hate to say, we won’t return. Too much money for the level of service and food!

Perfect for families and couples. Large property with so much to do, horses, golf, spa, pools, live music, restaurants, games, water spots about 20 minutes from Austin. My kids loved the bikes, daily kid planning, game rooms, s'mores. I'd suggest checking out Bastrop for food as well as the onsite restaurants

Every year we are here at this property for the New Years. the Property is in excellent condition and properly maintained. Friendly staff and food has some decent choices. Service was just on par or average. It seems that one particular restaurant service was slow. We had a mishap on zip line reservations and was not able to attend because of reservation online issue. Nevertheless the staff was helpful in explaining and refunded our reservations. We will continue to visit this property yearly

We booked for convenience but were very impressed by the food and cocktails, which were both top notch and served by relaxed and helpful staff. The cocktails were very well thought through and some of the best we have had anywhere, not just in Texas but Manhattan and London. A hidden gem!

We stayed the first weekend in October. The resort was great. Valet and bell hop service was great. Our room was on the first floor and had a walk out patio that led to the pool and pond, etc. Very nice. We tried all the restaurants. It was nice to be able to walk to a restaurant, and not have to leave the resort, but the food was subpar in my opinion. I would definitely recommend the resort, and can’t wait to return. Lots to do, especially for families with children, but we never felt overrun by kids. Nice place.

We greatly enjoyed staying at this resort for the most part. We were shocked to find out that the dinner buffet would not be open on Friday or Saturday due to lower capacity. This is one of the reasons my family stays at a resort. We like having a buffet for meals so that everyone can find something they like. The website never stated that this resturant was conditional and even had their menu posted for both nights. We did eat at Mavericks both nights and the food there was delicious. Next time we will prepare better and have clothing appropriate to eat at the higher end resturant too.

We really needed a relaxing and fun getaway with the kids. Lostpines couldn’t have been more perfect. Everything you need is in one place, it’s clean, beautiful and consistent and staff is amazing. Highly recommend for families with kids - there’s so much todo. We will be back!

We had a wonderful trip. We got you play golf even though it was hot. The course was very pretty and hilly. We had drinks by the pool and relaxed then dinner at Mavericks. The food was good and the breakfast buffets were good too with a great selection

We visit this place at least twice a year and all things are good except this visit. Arrive was just subpar and long waits for food and lagging service . It could be that the place was full but they should have enough staff to cover. I will still come here because the grounds are great and it is a family atmosphere.

After checking in to our room, we were surprised to see that our room was occupied by another guest. When we notified the front desk they were indifferent about the issue. Although they “upgraded” us to another suite, this suite had not been used nor cleaned in weeks. As a result, the room was dusty, filthy, and not ready for guests.

Fine if you are not snobby about food
This place is just fine. I’d give the food maybe a 3/10 and since you’re pretty far from anything else you’re basically stuck eating here or bringing your own snacks. It was $20 to have food delivered to my room (not including the tip) and I couldn’t leave because my kiddo was sleeping so room service only option. The pools is fantastic and the people are friendly. We did have two wasps fly in through the air vent and had an employee come up to remove them, which was good. For the cost of everything I’d rather go somewhere with better food and a little more options close to the resort.
