The staff are most pleasant and helpful, particularly Hugo at Reception who added to our enjoyment of Cahors. Our room was good though could have benefited from a small fridge.

Great hotel find
Hotel was very good. Breakfast great, staff great cleanliness great. Excellent location opposite station. Car hire 20metres from hotel. A great place to stay for onward travel and also site seeing. Reasonable rates.

A comfortable hotel that’s more attractive inside than outside. Clean, modern rooms with excellent aircon and shutters led to a good night’s sleep. The disappointment was having pre-booked breakfast, we were unable to take it. Every seat was taken but many of them just had bags and coats on them. Careful management could have made around ten seats available, rather than telling us to queue for 20 mins. One of the tables had a member of staff doing paperwork at a busy time…..

Very convenient for the train station and 10 minutes walk to town centre. Very welcoming, helpful receptionists, including at unsocial hours. Good breakfast. Rooms very acceptable for a short stay.

Great for an overnight in cahors
Great hotel for an overnight stay in cahors. Bed was super comfy, we asked for additional pillows though which they were more than happy to provide. Service was fantastic.

Well located very near the railway station and close to the old town. Good-sized room (for France) with good service and amenities. The breakfast (surcharge) was good (but no hot food).

If you are on a budget, this hotel will do. It's clean, quiet and the price is right. They also have a decent breakfast for EUR 9.50. However the hotel is very tired looking from the outside and it's not in the historic area. This is not a problem since the walk to the historic area is 10 minutes. I've stayed in much nicer hotels for the same price. Parking is EUR 5 per night.

The hotel 🏩 has list of the good Rte. In walking distance. But book ahead to avoid disappointment

We liked the fact that we had a nice big bedroom with plenty of power sockets. The bathroom was very modern, it was good to have a locked car park and the breakfast was good. Thanks for a great stay😊 xx

Very good hotel short walk from train station and only a 10 minute walk to Main Street with restaurants and shopping. Lots of historical buildings and churches in the Old Town. Great walking city.

A good value hotel in a nice location
Tho hotel has easy access by car and an on-site car park. Easy access to town and the river (very close to Pont Valentre). Friendly & helpful staff with comfortable room.

A short stay in Cahors.
En route to family in the South of France , stopped at Cahors , and were pleased to be be able to park the car safely and to have a cool, calm night before getting on our way next morning .

Pleasant hotel, room decor was NOT relaxing or "comfortable as the marketing said it would be. Bed was lovely but the wall above it was almost disturbing in decor ! The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fine.

The hotel was the best I'd stayed in during my stay in France. The staff were efficient, friendly, extremely helpful and spoke very good English. The hotel situation was excellent for public transport users and within easy reach of the wonderful old town of Cahors

Pleasant, well located hotel
We had a 3-night stay and found our room more than adequate--quiet room, spacious enough, comfortable bed, good bathroom, good TV and internet, friendly and helpful staff, plus a better than average breakfast. The facilities are basic, but clean and in good condition. Note that a budget hotel operates on the lower floors as Inter-Hotel La Valentre. Some of the reviews confuse the two.

Satisfied had a great stay!!
Hotel was very close to the railway station so easy to get to. Parking on site for 2 euros. Hotel staff were great and helpful. Room was very comfortable, spaciousness and clean. French doors opened for fresh air, plus air conditioner. Wifi was hard to access in room and didn't have kettle or tea making facilities, easy walk to the town centre. Would stay again!!

Basic, but good.
We were three friends on a motorcycle tour and just needed somewhere simple to spend the night and this fit the description perfectly. It's very basic, but with everything you need. The area is nothing special, but it's only ten minutes walk to the centre of Cahors. The staff were extremely helpful, and it was great for motorcyclists with free secure parking.

Somewhat dilapidated hotel in run down area with a ten minute walk to tourist area. Did not have breakfast there as not included at time of booking. Did have parking at rear , but not secure . Anyone could walk into car park and from there into hotel . Reception was staffed 24 hours a day but we did not feel as safe as in other hotels we stayed in during our French trip. Hotel shared site with a 2star hotel which was not encouraging and had not been apparent at time of booking. Staff friendly though.

Good solid value
We were expecting a rather standard chain hotel, but the Hotel de France delivered an excellent time for us. Hotel us quite close to old town, maybe ten minutes. Clean and friendly, nice rooms.
