Good value for moneyPosted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Excellent location to visit La Cite and very quiet and easy to find
Cons: For the price, nothing
Location: visit La cite but do it early in the morning since it gets very full. The town itself is not worth a visit
Friendly staff. Rooms very clean and food good. Easy to find

Pros: Good value and v. clean
Cons: Open restuarantDavid
We stay at this hotel every year because its not only v.good but it has a restaurant. Unfortunately this year the rest. was closed so we went next door to Campanile rest. which was poor and expensive by comparison to Kyriad. Next year we will go elsewhere in Cahors where we can get a decent meal.

Good hotel about 3 kms from Central CahorsPosted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Easy to find, plenty of parking.
Cons: Didn't have breakfast as the price was a bit high & it wasn't clear what you would get. No obvious eateries nearby but lots in Cahors approx 3 Km
Location: Restaurant la Truite Dorée about 10 mins out of Cahors on route to Figeac was great for lunch on the terrace on a warm June day
The hotel was fine with quiet air-conditioned room, the hotel has 3 or 4 separate buildings & we had arranged to meet a friend there who was put in a different building. no lifts in our building. It was a bank holiday when we arrived and Cahors had lots going on, classic car rally, car boot sale, 3 markets etc.

Comfortable room, unreliable internet connectivityPosted May 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
We booked Kyriad Cahors for an overnight stay before traveling to Cabrerets to see the Pech Merle cave. Traveling by car, we appreciated the possibility of free parking on site and the 24-hour front desk (not common everywhere in France). The night receptionist did not speak any English at all, which was no issue until we found out that the WiFi was not working at all; even though I managed to explain the problem to him, nothing was done to resolve the situation until the morning when I explained the same thing to another receptionist who eventually reset the router. This impacted our stay since we relied on internet connectivity to further plan our trip. However, the day shift staff was very friendly and gave good advice on visiting a few more noteworthy places in the region. Our room was small, but comfortable and clean. We chose not to get breakfast at the hotel since it was only a cold buffet.

Hotel easy to find. Breakfast excellant but expensive . Staff helpful and English speaking. Would like blankets and not duvets as summer is coming and was too hot even in spring!!

South of France DestinationPosted Aug 29, 2012 on Hotels.com
Just on the North side of town, the hotel is spread over a number of blocks, our room was a good size with a shower and toilet. The hotel is smart and clean. The hotel is situated on the edge of town as the main road detours around the old town. It is well worth driving (unless you like a long walk) into the old town. A very pretty old French town caught in the loop of the river Lot, with hills rising around.

Clean, tidy, modern rooms...Posted Aug 1, 2012 on Hotels.com
The rooms are a modern style, compact, but with enough space, a big comfy bed, decent en-suite with a good shower and air-conditioning. The restaurant food was pretty good too, with buffet breakfast and an option of buffet starter at lunch time and I think dinner too. The location is the only issue. It's on an industrial roundabout, which isn't noisy, but means that getting into Cahors is pretty much by car. There's one bus an hour from opposite the hotel. If you check carefully there is some free parking in town too. Overall perfectly happy especially on their summer deal.

Useful for a short stayPosted Jul 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
We've stayed for single nights at this hotel many times before owing to the convenient location. We tolerated the dated rooms with very basic facilities as we were only staying for no more than 15 hours. However, we had a very pleasant surprise this year when we were offered a smartly refurbished room with an air conditioning upgrade as the hotel was not fully booked. Therefore, we had a very comfortable overnight stay.
