A little spot of respite while traveling

We checked in the day prior to Thanksgiving for a three day stay and found our room ready on time. It was an overly large standard layout hotel room with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The TV had a plethora of channels (many more than standard hotel service). The bathroom had shelves to put away your toiletries (nice touch) with a tub shower. The only suggestion I have for the room is new shower heads. The pressure was good, but the head itself was deficient. The hotel has an indoor pool, but even my northern niece and nephews thought it was "too cold" to get in fully. If you're going to have an indoor pool, it should be heated. The solarium surrounding the pool was great. The breakfast in the morning was more than adequate (real oatmeal, waffle maker, fresh fruit salad) and the items changed daily (not just hard boiled eggs :)) There are always chocolate chip cookies in the lobby and a fruit bowl on the counter. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and the maids were attentive. I highly recommend this hotel. It is about 10 miles south of the I40 I75 junction and 30 minutes from downtown Knoxville. Very near the Tennessee River and Ft. Loudon Dam.

Dispointment stay for 3 nights terrible condition

Pros: convenient to where we needed to be.
Cons: fix leaking facets and temperature for pool and hot tub need to be regulated accordingly.
Location: grocery store and gas... served the purpose of what we needed
TV was white and fuzzy had to change rooms then facet leaked and bath tub dripped constantly. Hot tub and pool was cold. Treadmill needs work very loud when jogging. Never stayed at a Country Inn that was so dirty.

Excellent overnight stay

Pros: Very clean and friendly.
Cons: Turn the pool heat up.
My brother and I were traveling from Florida to Ohio and I had prepaid for our stay here. We found it comfortable, very clean and the staff at check-in and at check-out very friendly and helpful. I used the pool and it was well maintained but a bit chilly. The hot tub was nice and relaxing. Breakfast was great with a nice selection of fruit, cereals and hot foods. I would stay here again.

Country Inn & Suites Loudon, Tenn.

Cons: Make the bed completely, not partially. Have room prepared & checked for next patron. Simple stuff.
Beds was only partially made, cover in the floor. Very disappointed. Had driven 10 hours, too exhausted to complain at night. Next morning, I did speak respectfully to desk person. He said I would need to tell Expedia. Room had a water bottle from last patron. The Macon, Georgia Country Inn was wonderful. I assumed, incorrectly, the Loudon, Tenn. would be also wonderful also. Since the price was over 100.00 I asked him for a refund. He said they could not, but to tell Expedia. I have had very good results with Expedia prior to this. Thank you very much. Sandra Osborne

We do apologies for the ants situtaion on the cookies. We did throw those 3 dozens cookies away and baked fresh one . We have talken care of the ants situation as well with our pest control company. THank you !

Great hotel. 5Stars.

Great clean rooms. Fire breakfast, unlimited coffee. I would say the breakfast was on par, if not better, than IHOP/Danny's/Cracked Barrel. Pool/Jacuzzi with free available towels. Just don't park by the trees outside as our van got raided by ants. Park away from the bushes/trees, lol.

Good Place to Stay

Stay was good. Staff went above and beyond when we called back after we checked out to try and locate a medicine container. They wound up finding in the parking lot.
