Don't book through expedia

We arrived to have no working pool. Which is why we booked that hotel. Those around us were able to switch reservations, or get a discount because of the problem. Since we booked through expedia, we got nothing!

Pros: location
we could not get our money back because we booked through expedia. We could not even get a discount, because we booked through expedia. Everyone else around us asked and was able to get out of reservation when we found the pool didn't work. It was the whole reason we chose that hotel in the first place.

Stayed for MATS

Pros: Bed
Cons: Refrigerator. Breakfast buffet
Location: ?? Other restaurants were hard to drive to since not familiar to area. Fantastic for the MATS!
Everything was great. Great food from menu. The breakfast buffet was not so good. Bed was so comfortable!! Really wish the time scheduling was 3 days instead of 4 days. WOW. Wish there had been a refrigerator in room. Stayed at an Hampton Inn Saturday and had a refrigerator room was comfortable, rate was 1/4 the cost.

Good crowd in the hotel. Very slow check-in. As always good food in the bar and comfortable room. I did notice the carpet in the room is dirty and shows a lot of wear. Chair in the room very uncomfortable..

Hotel is noticeably aging on the exterior

Pros: Lobby and staff were very nice.
Cons: Exterior is visibly aging, the bathroom was acceptable but not what I would consider Crowne Plaza standards; more like a Holiday Inn.
30 minute wait to check-in followed by a room that was nice but not what I would consider Crowne Plaza quality. The most disappointing thing about the visit was the dog show that was in the hotel which lead to being up most of the night listening to dogs bark incessantly.

I was terribly disappointed. I am not sure who is to blame. I booked a King bed room and got two full sized beds. I booked breakfast and had to argue with the hotel to get it (it was awful, by the way). My room was next to the elevator! I suspect that expedia "got me a great deal" but it was for a bed I didn't request and in a spot nobody else wanted (next to vending area and the elevator). First time using expedia and it will probably be the last!

Great experience!

Pros: Very clean and well appointed rooms!
Cons: You need to install a jaccuzi!
Location: Do not know...I was there for the American Pomeranian Club Specialty and had not time to do site seeing.
Beautiful hotel, lovely rooms, good food. My only disappointment was the fact that you did not have a jaccuzi.

Historic Snow Storm

I got checked-in it was last call, still got a beer to calm down after a 7 hour trip up 65N at 15 mph. Room was clean and toasty. Great place to stay, Cynthia from housekeeping did a great job on my room.

3 Star Hotel At Best

This hotel shows it's age and is very average. The only positive is the location to the Fairgrounds Expo.

Room was freezing cold. Room had all kinds of air coming in from outside. Thought for $200 a night it would be a little nicer. No fridge or microwave. Had a king size bed booked and when i got there they said all they had was a double queen. Not a real happy wife on valentines day
