Very nice hotelPosted Apr 11, 2014
Pros: Great breakfast. Very comfortable beds and big comfortable rooms.
Cons: The couch sleeper could be a bit better, but we had an inflatable mattress that worked just fine.
Location: We were there to visit our grandson. The hotel is located very close to all the attraction offered in louisville.
We stayed 5 days in Kentucky and found our hotel to be truly a home away from home. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have had. The staff were friendly and whenever we had a need they were quick to satisfy the need. Rooms were clean and everything was in good working condition. We look forward to staying again.

We Love Embassy Suites!Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: All of the parking at this facility was convenient - it was refreshingly odd. Usually if you stay out late, you have to park in Egypt. Not so here.
My Wife and I travel every quarter for business, and it has gotten to the point that we don't even look for other hotels anymore; we love Embassy Suites! They are always accommodating, consistently clean, and the BREAKFAST... Oh my God! We look forward to staying at Embassy Suites whenever travel is required. J. Wade TeamWade Austin Texas

Nice hotelPosted Mar 15, 2014
My family stayed here for spring break. We enjoyed everything the hotel offered, pool, breakfast, staff, etc. The managers reception in the evening was the only negative. They did no offer much, chips & dip, vegetable sticks and drink. But overall we were very pleased.

Why didn't they tell us?Posted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: The front desk staff members are very pleasant and helpful. It isn't their fault the condition of this hotel right now.
Cons: Management should post pictures and advise their potential customers of what is currently going on and let them make a decision whether to book a room
Location: It is in a great location, with plenty of restaurants around. It is near LSU, Southern University and a 15 minute drive to the airport.
I have stayed in this hotel at least once a year for the past four years. Usually, it's a great experience and it started off pleasant enough with the desk staff. However, once I got my key and headed to my room, it became a disaster. The entire interior is under renovation and is closed off. The flooring has been torn up and plywood was everywhere. Because of this, some of the elevators are inoperable. The condition of the hotel obviously bled over into the cleaning staff. Among other things, my garbage wasn't emptied nor was I given clean glasses. I was shocked to say the least. Management should be ashamed to charge full price and not let the customer know what's going on prior to arrival. The front desk personnel said that the renovations won't be completed until the end of May at the earliest. I'm sure once the renovations are completed, it will go back to being a very good hotel to stay at.

Dissapointed!Posted Jan 20, 2014
Pros: The food was excellent.
Cons: The facilities.
Location: Location was convenient, but we won't go back.
We went to the hotel for a night with the grandchildren. Pool water was cold. Elevator crashed while we were on it and scared us all, especially the girls. Television in room did not work properly, even after the staff worked on it for at least thirty minutes.

the hotel was awesome and the room was excellent.Posted Jan 16, 2014
Pros: The comfort and space of the different rooms in the suite
Cons: It would be nice to have access to major verse basic TV channels
Location: The hotel was located close to nice restaurants and events in the city.
The room was very spacious and clean. Bed and linen was fresh and there were extra pillars and blankets. Bathroom and toiletries were plenteous throughout the stay. I love Embassy Suites they move Up the scale pass Marriott and Hampton.

Awesome price!Posted Jan 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed in a king suite and paid half of what I would have expected for a room so nice! Breakfast was delicious and the hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Ebassy Suites has won my business, for sure!

Pros: The price, The breakfast, the staff were very fast and accommodating.
Cons: See my experience comments. Have coffee/tea available 24/7 in the lobby.
Location: Close access to Starbucks, restaurants and shopping.
The hotel did not have stair access from first floor to other floors that I could find. I like to take the stairs. The cleanliness was disappointing. There were stains on two pillow cases and the shower curtain on the inside contained clumps of some sort of soap scum. I called house keeping and they were very responsive. The bar did not have enough help on the night of the Kentucky/Louisville game. There appeared to be appetizers but I was not sure who they were for because I did not get any information about them. The TV did not work on the elipitical machine. There were instructions on the wall but the TV option was greyed out on the machine.
