Our air conditioning wasn't working very well and it was a warm night. Made for a long, sleepless night.

Outdated in need of some remodeling! Very large and time consuming to get around.

We are currently remodeling a few areas of the property, so we hope that you come back and visit when it's all done. We offer moving sidewalks, complimentary indoor shuttle service and motorized chairs and wheelchairs that can be rented to make the distance a little easier to cover. We hope to have you as a guest again soon

Disappointment

Posted Jun 2, 2015
The staff weredressed to impress but rude. Hotel location was not planned. None of the rooms had a nice view. Hotel was hot. WiFi was down and they wanted an addition 11 dollars for in room wifi after they charged 11 dollars for a hotel fee including wifi. The casino was packed on a Sunday night and smelled like smoke: even in the morning when it was sparsely populated.

Best hotel experience I've had in awhile.

Check in literally took 2 seconds, room was immaculate, staff was awesome. The only negative was that the fitness center was closed due to flood damage, which I was not informed of despite asking about it while calling to inquire before making the reservation. Kind of a big deal for me, but otherwise, everything was amazing. Couldn't have been a better experience.

Base of time away

Can't believe they charge for internet access let alone the extreme cost for internet. Cleanliness was terrible not sure the room was cleaned before or during the time we were there except by us. Items in the room were broken.

Not a good experience.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and we were greeted regularly as they passed by.
Cons: Shuttle service from hotel to casino needs to improve. Clear disclosure of extra charges (for the bottled water for example).
Location: A nice drive about 20 miles to Louisville, KY.
At check-in, there was no option to choose a barrier-free room or a particular floor or a room near the elevator. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Housekeeping was great. We didn't want to use valet service, but the valet said they could not lend us a luggage cart. The casino was very far from the hotel which was a problem for the elderly in our group. There was a short shuttle service, but it was not nearly far enough to be of any effect. The linens and blankets were quite thin. The fitness center was not open due to recent flooding. The rooms were adequate but slightly dated. We didn't see the warning on the bottled water (quart bottles) that it would cost us $4 each until we already drank four of them. Our fault, I suppose, for not paying attention, but the little warning was only on one of the two bottles in the room. It cost us $16 plus tax for one gallon of bottled water; outrageously over-priced. We thought the bottled water would be complimentary because of the poor quality of the tap water. I dined at one of the restaurants in the casino and found that the chair I sat on had some sort of goop on it which had transferred to my jeans. After alerting the restaurant staff, I felt like I was made a fool by the manager snapping pictures of my rear end in front of the rest of the customers. They asked me the brand of jeans I was wearing and my size as if they would replace my jeans entirely. Finally, I just said, I'll send you a bill for the dry-cleaning.

Seemed like a good deal at the time...

Pros: It was clean.
Cons: Please reread my "experience".
Location: A little out of the way, but so what.
I stayed here because I wanted to save a few dollars and still get a good room in a proper Hotel. I had no problem with it being a little out of my way. First problem was finding my way to the Parking area and then slugging my baggage quite some distance into the hotel and up to the Front Desk. (Then up to the seventh floor). But Check in was quick and easy and I was off to the room in seconds. The room was clean, large and exactly what I wanted (it seemed). Then I found out there was an additonal charge for WiFi. This was very disappointing since we needed WiFi, and when you consider that WiFi is free almost everywhere these days, a little annoying. I suffered without it. But the biggest problem with our stay was the noise. I hardly slept 4 hours the entire night. The Fridge hummed and buzzed. The A/C whirred. The plumbing(?) in the walls banged and boomed. The neighbours on both sides could be heard through the paper thin walls. One neighbour had their TV booming until 3am. And the noise from the hallway was just as bad (until early into the morning hours). I was grouch in the morning and suffered from exhaustion the next day. I was glad to leave this Hotel. I have stayed in cheap Motels and slept better.

It's unfortunate that you didn't find your room as comfortable as it could have been. Should you experience these problems again, call down to the front desk and they will do whatever is in their power to make your stay legendary. Also, should you need WiFi, we offer it for free in the hotel lobby, as well as dedicated workstations that are wired, for our guests convenience.
