“Looks ok on the inside...”

It was outdated on the outside, and not in the best part of town. The room looked nice, but was very drafty and we couldn't get the heat to properly heat the whole room. Walls were paper thin and could hear all going on in other rooms or people talking outside. It worked for the two days we were in town, but will not stay at two star ever again.

“Dump”

This hotel, hands down, was one of the worst I've ever stayed in. The property is old and run down. Old isn't always bad. Two of the nicest hotels in Louisville are over 100 years old. However, in the case of this particular Quality Inn, Old translates to run down and worn out. Renovation dollars appear to have been spent in the lobby. Room improvements include granite countertop for bathroom sink, a couple of pictures on the wall and paint. Carpet is bad, furnishings stained, construction falling apart. The pool area seemed to be OK, situated in the center of the hotel with rooms on all sides, easy access. However, I would not return for the pool.

“good rooms, poor outside appearance”

The hotel rooms are ok. Well equipped with TV, linnens, fridge, a/c. The full breakfast was very good; not too fancy, but you eat well. The main problem they have is that from the outside, the whole building looks completely deteriorated. The hallways are extremely dirty and smelly. This can completely frame you from going to the hotel. Had I seen it before making a reservation, I would have been fooled by the outer look. I encourage management to do something to improve the looks of the place, because it has a very good location, and offers a good value for the price. Please also do something about the wireless Internet connection, it´s non existing. they could try offering wired connection.

“Good value for the money”

Our stay at this motel was what we expected it to be: good value for the money. As it is convenient to where some friends of ours in that city reside, we will certainly stay there again in the future.

“Best free breakfast in Louisville, KY!”

I chose this motel for its location close to my aunt's nursing home, but found that there were much better reasons than location and price. This motel enclosed its swimming pool so that you can swim all winter and some of the rooms have become indoor rooms as a result. That gets you out of the weather and exercising. The breafast featured biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, pastry and make your own waffles. The breakfast area was full of travelers chowing down. Free USA Today. Rooms clear, neat, with coffee, shampoo, etc. Very courteous staff. That's all folks!

“Was pleased with accomodations.”

Clean room along with pleasant personnel at the check in desk was welcomed. Pool area was clean. A problem with water leaking in the bathroom ceiling due to the room above was handled well. We were moved to another room which was no problem for us.

“Not Impressed”

This hotel is not the level that I expexted, I don't know why it is listed. All rooms face out onto the outside, which means that in my case that after the cleaning lady had done her act I had a bunch of flies in the room (don't blame the lady, she needs the door open to do her job). The second thing that annoyed me was that the flasher for recorded phone messages continued to flash the whole time of my stay of six nights, and the front desk did not know how to stop it. And I could not retreave calls sent to me. When I wa leaving the manager had no problem in resetting my line. It's a pitty that the rest of the desk crew hadn't a clue. Thirdly, I fell for "Near the airport" blurb. In actual fact it's quit a distance away.
