We checked in late & we would have asked for a different room, because the room smelled of smoke (smoke free hotel) & the pillows stank of men's cologne. We had just finished a 11 hour drive & were exhausted so we put aside the pillows & dealt with the smoke smell. When I complained the next morning all I got was "Sorry, that shouldn't have been like that" No offer of a credit at all. Won't stay there ever again.

We purposely booked a room here because of the indoor pool and continental breakfast. When we checked in there was no mention the pool was closed. When asked, after reading the sign on the pool entrance, they allowed us to go nearby to a pool, however it was an inconvenience. They said it may open soon however it never did. We also needed to use the pull out bed for kids. The mattress was disgusting and all kinds of crumbs were found under it when we went to make the bed. The room itself is starting to look rundown/worn. Minus the couch it appeared clean however. The heating unit kicked on and off all night and was extremely loud. The sewage system must have also been near by because we could hear water traveling through the pipes. We assumed it was every time someone flushed the toilet because it was too often for it to just be the room above us. The bed was not comfy and combination of all of this may it difficult to get a goods night sleep. The breakfast was mediocre in comparison to others we’ve had at similar stays. The staff was friendly, but no one asked how our stay was at checkout. We had to cancel a night due to needing to leave earlier than expected and the manager I spoke to on the phone prior to our arrival was very helpful. Expedia was less than helpful in that process despite paying the extra fee to be able to change/cancel the reservation. Overall, we were glad we only needed to stay 1 night.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The location was convenient. The breakfast was okay. Our room was comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. I wish there were better pillows, they went flat as soon as you laid your head on them. The room was clean but could stand to be updated. The cabinets were worn and the paint was peeling off the door to the bathroom. Otherwise it was fine and we would stay there again

We are seniors and had a suite with two bedrooms each with their own bath and TV. It allowed me to watch the ball games while my wife read in the privacy of her room. Easy access to the beltway and downtown. Plenty of shopping nearby.

A truly RESIDENCE inn!
Great facility; incredibly friendly and hospitable staff! The "breakfast" crew was wonderful, and even learned our eating habits during our 10-day stay, and catered to us!

The beds were very small, they were suppose to be queen but were smaller in size. The shampoo dispenser did not have shampoo. The trash cans were not empty. The breakfast quality was just so so. Not up to Marriott standards.

We booked a king bed suite and they gave us a single queen suite (handicapped equipped). When we asked for another suite they said they were completely booked. Our suite with the single queen bed was worn out and bathroom had discoloration and perhaps mold in crevices. Definitely a disappointment

I stay here starting on Wednesday night to Monday morning (check out) the room was never clean by housekeeping staff for my whole stay. Toilet would not flush properly even told the front desk about the issue and it was never fixed. The area around the hotel was nice and convenient for shopping, but the overall stay was not pleasant.

Everything was okay EXCEPT the matters. First night I ended up sleeping on the sofa bed. Mattress was ruined on one side and had not noticed until sat on it late at night. In the morning I asked front desk to replace it and in no time maintenance replaced it with a NEW one. Second night I was able to sleep. Sure enough third night again the mattress went sideways on one side. Apparently Marriott is purchasing the cheapest mattress available in the market. P.S. I am 195 lbs person.
