Pros: Comfortable and clean
Cons: Nothing I can think of now.
Location: Shepherdsville, KY; not a lot in the immediate area, but just to the south is Mammoth Cave National park.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. In fact, the circuit breaker blew as soon as I pushed the button for coffee. The young lady attending to the customers in the breakfast room immediately went to work to figure out what went wrong and had it fixed before I finished my eggs and sausage.

Poor night sleep

Posted Jan 23, 2015 on Hotels.com
Everything was night but beds were terribly uncomfortable. Pillows and mattresses were horrible.

Clean and mostly quiet hotel but the main room doors slam very loudly making it almost impossible to sleep if a neighboring occupant is exiting or entering their room.

Worth the money

Posted Jan 3, 2015 on Hotels.com
The room was very clean, bed comfortable. The only drawback was in the dinning room. The food was fine but the coffee, it was awful; the attendant very graciously refilled the machine but it was not any better. Noticed not many drinking coffee; need to fresh brew, not use a machine to mix coffee concentrate and water. My husband said it might be the water. If so they need to use a water filter.

Decent for cheap but not if you're OCD.

The hotel presents well. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. The depth of cleanliness is a little unsettling: the elevators had standing dirt in all the corners, the lobby was the same way, and the room (although you could tell there had been an attempt to clean) was moderately clean at best. Anywhere in the room not out in the open had visible dirt or debris in plain sight. If you do stay, be sure to get to breakfast before 8:30 am as they don't refill or even appear to care that the bar has run out.

December 2014 overnight stay

Posted Dec 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
Picked this from a number of hotels in the Louisville area. Appeared very nice on Hotel.com which I use. Got to room and the air conditioner was on low with the temperature gauge all the way to cold in December. It must have been 60 degrees in the room. Turned on the heat (which worked) but no TV remote. Decided I might get charged for no remote so went to the desk to request another room. Next room had 2 queen beds instead of a king but the beds had NO pillows. Took the remote to use in the first room. Went to dinner and when back the room had warmed up to a tolerable temperature. About an hour later at 1030pm someone was trying to open the door (had it double locked). Talked to the couple who was given room keys and told them the issue from earlier. The clerk was not very bright and also was sloppy in her dress with a T-shirt and stocking cap on her head but then I wasn't there for her but rather the room. Good price, very clean and comfortable. Would stop there again. It was off the highway far enough to not hear traffic.

Satisfactory for the price

Posted Dec 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was satisfactory for the price. Breakfast was OK although it ends at 9am on weekends and by 8:30am they were out of a few options which they did not refill. The pool was warm but there were no towels in the pool area; we had to ask the front desk for towels for the pool. The beds were OK but the pillows were very small. The hotel did put a $57 charge on my debit card in case of incidentals which I found to be a little much. The charge was fully refunded 4 days later. The location of the hotel is very convenient to the highway and there are many restaurants around although mostly fast food.
