"Weekend trip, Homey room"
During a long weekend in May, we stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to the airport, and because it had good ratings.
The staff were all friendly, professional and helpful. Anyone and every one of them that we ran into was courteous.
They have coffee and water in the lobby's dining area throughout the day... and cookies too, if you get them before they run out! The complimentary breakfast served each morning is decent: baked sweets, toast & bagels (with jelly, PB, and butter available), fruit cocktail, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, gravy, dry cereal, juices and milk, and that waffle batter/griddle that some hotels/motels have (I have a weak spot for those). None of the food would qualify as fresh, homemade, healthy fare, if that's what you're looking for... but it is a great spread, good flavors and variety, the warm food is kept warm and the staff (did I mention they're helpful?) was ever-present: restocking, cleaning and available if you needed something. The dining area is spacious, with your choice of seating and a TV with the news or talk shows on. One of the best complimentary breakfasts I've had at a hotel.
The room was clean. A little kitchenette with a mini-fridge. Well-furnished with a dresser/TV armoire, nightstands, desk with a rolling chair, armchair, and a comfortable bed. Sheets were clean, with no stains or odors. Bathroom was clean and everything worked well. Had no problems with the internet.
