Habitación con vistas espectaculares

Buena situación del hotel. Nuestra habitación muy amplia y con vistas espectaculares al rio. y muy apropiado para personas de movilidad reducida..para mi gusto la ducha incomoda al carecer de mampara o cortinas.

Recommend it!

After staying in two DIVES in Paris, what a refreshing change it was to stay at the Solitude. The view off our balcony was the icing on the cake. We ate at the restaurant and both times the food was excellent, the service good and the food great! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Lourdes....great location as well!

Honeymoon

Posted Sep 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
We arrived quite late and were confused as being part of an older generation bus tour! The wifi was temperamental at best and staff weren't too concerned about it. So, not particularly friendly staff. Also, you cannot call an oversized flat jacuzzi a swimming pool! However, the room was clean and the bed very comfortable.

Dificil acceso en coche

Posted Sep 22, 2014 on Hotels.com

Escape from the tackiness

Posted Aug 19, 2014
The hotel was fine - clean rooms, spacious lobby area & friendly staff. Apparently Lourdes has the highest density of hotels per sq/km second only to Paris. I popped into a couple and most were tacky - very much like the souvenir strip - this hotel (along with its sister hotels) were a pleasant escape. One word of warning if you have a large car - the garage is virtually impossible to enter. I had to use an open air carpark at one of their sister hotels - though they were very reluctant to let me use it.

Hotel de classe!

Excellent hôtel! Très bonne localisation près des activités à Lourdes. Stationnement intérieur un peu dispendieux 15 Euros la nuit et accès restreint. Coût des repas élevés!

Short retreat

Pros: Friendly and efficient
Cons: Requests to be dealt more promptly
Location: Central, close to all amenities
This is the second visit to the hotel, its central to all the amenities and more important to the Sanctuary,

Nice Hotel

Posted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: Good location.
Cons: It's definitely geared towards a high turnover of pilgrims - I would probably select next time a hotel further away from the Grotto.
Location: The hotel borders the grounds of the Sanctuary.
I selected the hotel because it seemed central (and it is) but it is definitely geared towards pilgrims coming to see the Grotto, and so there are a lot of elderly and physically challenged guests which makes the ambience of the hotel a bit different.

Nice hotel 5 min walk from Grotto.

Posted May 14, 2014
Cons: It would be nice to have tea / coffee facilities in our room.
Location: Close to the Grotto, shops and bus stops, especially for the trips e.g. Pic du Jer which is well worth a visit.
This is our fourth time at this hotel. Since our last visit four years ago the rooms have been renovated. We had a nice view on the fifth floor of the castle and in the evening see the torch light possession. Staff very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the evening dinner of the day (set meal which was always made available in the morning) Breakfast was a cold help yourself buffet.
