We chose the hotel carefully hoping for a night in a unique setting and a romantic meal. On arrival we found a lovely chateau in its own grounds with a view of the Pyrenees in the distance. At the reception area a young girl greeted us without a smile, checked our paperwork and did not offer any more information. I later had to go back downstairs to ask for the WiFi code. and dinner this evening? "No, there is only me here!" She told us offering a tiny pizza bar a shirt distance away. It was very small and lacked atmosphere as it had no customers. We drove to an E Leclerc supermarket nearby, had a glass of wine at the bar then bought some local cheese and a baguette plus a bottle of cider which we consumed in our chateau room. The room was ancient and charming with a good bathroom and shower but the u UPVC windowsill almost snapped off if you leaned out to open the shutters. The bedside shelf Came away from the wal when I put a book down on it. Bedroom lighting very poor with no bedside reading light - the shelf would never bear its weight! Breakfast served by a silent waitress, no greeting, stale croisant and help yourself from the main table. A great disappointment which had promised a memorable stay with romantic meal. As it was this is a superb location for a sequel to Fawlty Towers

Great boutique hotel, made to feel very welcome.
Travelling as a family 2 adults, 2 children made to feel very welcome. Offered a choice of rooms on arrival. Great breakfast . Rooms were comfortable.

Great Plac - Lovely, Welcoming Owners
Loved it! The place is gorgeous - still a work in progress but this does not impinge on guests at all. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, happy to show before-and-after photos of the restoration. The beds were comfy, the bathroom very nice, and the breakfast excellent. Was a bit worried when on Google maps I saw it was close to road - but the road is quiet and all the rooms are facing the other way, so whisper-quiet all night. Lovely garden with view of the Pyrenees.The owner even gave us a bottle of wine as we left! A lovely place to stay - absolutely recommended - will definitely go back.

Wonderful Service.
This small hotel was spotless. GPS was essential in finding it due to the remote location. The dinner they fixed was awesome. They spoke French and a little Spanish, but no English. Never the less we were able to communicate with them. Definitely a place to return too!

Fantastic Hotel
Great Hotel, fantastic room. Very helpful staff. Only downside was it was hard to find until a local person very kindly jumped in his car and lead us to the gates. Would stay again.

great place to stay, stunning hotel. only problem we found was the GPS did not find it that well but it did get me lost another time. you do need to book your in house dinner a day in advance and if your order the confit of duck you will have a great meal, choice of wine sold is also great. overall very pleasant and relaxing

Bel endroit, parc agréable, accueil sympathique. Chambre agréable et propre, salle d’eau où une seconde vasque serait utile, sèche serviette éteint ce qui en période fraîche et humide laisse les serviettes moites. Petit déjeuner indigne d’un tel environnement : aucun produit maison, confiture industrielle en mini barquette plastique, madeleines de grande distribution sous cellophane goût moyen, jus d’orange industriel, un croissant par personne le tout pour 10€

Une nuit passée à la dernière minute le week-dernier en raison des Magnifique demeure, accueil très serviable et équipe efficace pour cette nuit impromptue... Dommage que nous n'ayons pu rester plus longtemps pour profiter du lieu.

Tolles altes Schloss mit unglaublich ausgefallenen Zimmern. Die Hotelblder halten alles was Sie versprechen und man kann sich auf ein Designerlebnis freuen. Die Badezimmer sind groß und perfekt nur ist das Haus etwas hellhörig - was aber dem alter geschuldet ist. Sollten Sie hier empfindlich sein nicht buchen - allen anderen kann ich das Hotel nur ans Herz legen

Accueil étrange (un homme s'afférant sur sa voiture de sport klaxonne pour prévenir de notre arrivée) puis après qq mn d'attente à la réception, une femme arrive. Accueil cordial sans être chaleureux. Chambre correcte, mais nous avons très mal dormi (le lit de 160 étant bancale sur le parquet ancien) et l'espace des enfants (chambre sans fenêtre) surchauffé. Belle salle de bain avec de beaux matériaux, mais pas assez de pression pour profiter des jets d'eau, et distributeur de savon type formule 1. Pas de verre pour se rincer la bouche alors que la vasque, moderne, ne facilite pas la chose. Plafond écaillé indigne du tarif de la chambre. Le lendemain, les propriétaires n'étaient pas présents pour le petit déjeuner et nous avons dû nous débrouiller seuls (on est loin du petit déjeuner annoncé dans le descriptif, oranges pas fraîches). 8h35: départ. Les propriétaires ne semblent toujours pas être levés...Nous avons un drôle de sentiment et ne reviendrons pas. En bref, un beau parc très calme, une belle maison, mais cela ne fait pas tout.

Magnifiques chambres d'hôtes
Séjour parfait dans une magnifique demeure. Le spa est irréprochable et la possibilité de prendre rendez-vous avec une Estheticienne est trés agréable. Merci aux propriétaires également pour leur accueil et les petits plus qui font une énorme différence. On se sent très bien au château d'Orleix.

Hôtel choisi pour son concept et sa situation. Bien placé pour visiter la région, même si Tarbes n'a rien d'exceptionnel. Excellent accueil et disponibilité de la part de la maîtresse de maison.
