Quieter hotel in Lourdes

Posted Jan 8, 2014
Pros: Silence
Cons: Breakfast offerings, new elevator shaft
Location: Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception/Lourdes, the Parish church of Lourdes...literally NOTHING else other than religious tourism.
This hotel is away from all the large hotels catering for pilgrims in Lourdes. It is situated more in town, not far from the parish church. The hotel is very basic - it's clean and the rooms are average size for France. The elevator is tiny and creepy, but you wouldn't need it unless you were handicapped or had a lot of luggage. The breakfast is overpriced - it's 9 euro for cold items only, you could really save some money by going to the Lidl down the street to buy your own breakfast.

Good stay for price and location

Posted Nov 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
I had a great stay at this hotel. The only problem was the faint smell of cigarette smoke that drifted up to my room on the forth floor. Aside from that the staff was friendly and the hotel itself was good for the price. It's about a 10 min walk to the Lourdes Sanctuary. And less then a 10 min walk to the train station. Central to both which was excellent for me.

Nice hotel close to Metro

Posted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: The proximity to metro and shopping area.
Cons: Keep up the good work
Location: walking distance to Metro,Luxembourge Garden, shopping area and you can see the Eifel Tower from the hotel.
I am happy to stay in hotel Concorde du Montparnasse because the accessibility to the metro is excellent. The Staff are very friendly and speaks English fluently. They are also ready to answer any questions that I have and made my stay very pleasant. For sure I will stay here again when I go back to Paris. I will also highly recommend it.

Close to train station

It's a good hotel and the staff is friendly and helpful. A couple of negatives - our room was facing the busy street so, noisy with the traffic and although we did not need airconditioning during our stay, the room would be hot during the summer. Overall it was a good stay for me and my daughter.
