GPS foible leads to Good food in Quite Hotel

I checked in here on my way back to the UK from Berlin. I often travel on business to Moers and finding this hotel in the area was a bonus. They were doing some work to the Car parking when I was there, but don't let that put you off, just drive into the underground garage - its Free! O! and the sat nav might take you in the back way, Don't worry, just trust it. You will go down a narrow lane and just when you think you are about to end up in a farm yard, there is a little Mercure sign pointing to the right. Follow that around to the front of the Hotel.

Do not go there

Had a room confirmation for a king size bed . I arrived early, room not ready, dropped luggage went to meeting arrived late to find 2 small single bed. When I call for room error, I was told this is the last room. nothing they can do about it. Day time the internet partially work so no work can be done. Internet works ok between midnight to 4:00 a.m. as no one must be using it. I was charged breakfast at 18 euros and confirmed at 16Euros But the killer in all that was that there was no shuttle to go to the convention hall in Dusseldorf and I paid from 45 to 70 euros EACH WAY ....It just does not make sense to go there when going to a convention in Dusseldorf.

a good hotel for the fair

Hotel was good. A bit too far from the city and driving thru narrow country roads was long, but the hotel itself is good. - clean, nice, good customer service. The only other minor flaw - for some reason parking spots are a bit too narrow, even for a small size car that we had (VW Golf).

NIce hotel, very poor workout area

The hotel was very nice, but a little far out of town (15 euro cab to trainstation). Also they only had 2 very old bikes in the workout room. Other than that, the rooms were large for european standards and the restaurant was good,
