“Beautiful grounds and helpful staff”

Area recommendations
Downtown has a lot of shops and there are little restaurants down by the river.
Must see
The tours of all the temples in town. A tuk - tuk driver took us all around.
Dining
There is delicious looking food prepared outside during the night markets, but I would suggest you pick the freshly grilled fish and chicken because some stalls are not diligent about shooing flies away...
Nightlife
The night market downtown every night !

“not at all impressed for the price i paid.”

we were at the hotel for 3 nights. the van that picked us up from the airport is old...the hotel is far from town, about 4 km. the shuttle schedule is inadequate. the hotel has a nice property but the rooms are dated. furnishings are old and some falling apart. the pool is nice, but the umbrellas and the chairs needs updating also. the staff were polite. i think they need more shuttle to go and from to town. i think the hotel should provide free alms viewing into town, considering its location is so far away.

mainly walking if you live in town. or tuk tuk
Shopping
night market is not cheap...asking around upwars of couple hundred us dollars at times. i think need ot cut it down to 80% of asking price. compared with kuala lumpur , bangkok, china etc. it is sometims more expensive.

guang xi water fall.
