The place to stay in Luang PrabangPosted Jan 24, 2014
Pros: The proximity to the town and the friendly and helpful staff and service and also the spacious and comfortable rooms
Cons: Put in a provision for heating the room, especially during the cold months.
Location: The location was good, just outside the main central area. There is a night market nearby, waterfalls and temples and early morning monks taking alms.
From the mourn we arrived at the hotel we were made to feel welcome. The check in procedure was very efficient, and fast. The room was very large (it was the suite) and comfortable, the only issue was that as the hotel is spread out over the grounds we had to climb a lot of stairs each time we wanted to get to the room, but at least it kept you fit, especially after the large breakfasts that were served. The staff were very polite and obliging and eager to please and learn English. The manager came and introduced himself to us at breakfast one day and we had a pleasant chat. It is easily the best place to stay as it is out of the main noisy areas and there is always a shuttle available which takes 5 minutes to the centre. The only issue was that as we were there in January which is the winter, the room had no heating or provision for heating as it got very cold at night and late afternoon in fact at one stage it was warmer to sit outside on the balcony than inside. When I enquired about heating I was told that the person would check to see if there was a spare heater available, he never got back to us. All in all I would recommend the hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Nice staff but facilities a little tired.Posted Nov 30, 2013
Needs some maintenance and location on fairly busy road at edge of town not always convenient. Manager and staff excellent!

Nice stay in Luang PrabangPosted Oct 24, 2013
Cons: A few minor things would improve the room: better lighting and non-skid floor for shower. Outside: Pool steps were very slippery.
Comfortable room, #3 near pool. Staff helpful and attentive. Excellent service. Good management. Free shuttle to town whenever we wanted and pickup made our stay hassle-free. Nice breakfast with service available on terrace which has lovely view of the town. Overall very pleasant stay, quiet rooms. Beds very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great place. Food not brilliant but ok. Rest of hotel/location makes up for it

Exceptional ExperiencePosted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Good food, Clean, Quite and kindness. All the staffs speaks and understand English well.
Cons: I want to suggest. If they make a walking trail through back mountain, it would give great exercise to guest.
Location: Location is apart from downtown area. Nearby fruit market and local market in walking distance.
It's not like a Hotel. It's similar with I had visited to my uncle's cottage. All of the employees like a family member. The atmospere of hotel is quite, tropical nature trees surrounded. The location is little far from downtown but it is no matter as they give ride any time required to go and pick up. This hotel is better for families and old generation like us. I hope to go again with all of my families.

Best swimming pool of LPQ, but far from downtownPosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel stay was pleasant especially because of the swimming pool, which is not so big but with a very nice view. The hotel was very clean and free bikes are provided to guests. If you don't want to ride, they also provide transportation to downtown. Because the hotel was not full, plenty of bikes and driver at any time (except to the aiport, they charge for this). Overall, a very nice hotel and would definitely stay again in a next trip to LPQ.

great locationPosted Aug 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
great location, a bit out of the main center of town, but the staff was always willing to take you into town. Great pool. For the price, rooms should be a bit nicer, some sewer smell from the toilet, which is in a separate room so keep the door closed. Drinks are way to expensive, go into town. Massages are fabulous.
